  • Our church is starting a series on Wisdom and we will be reading the Book of Proverbs during the month of July. There are 31 days in July.....and 31 chapters in Proverbs. The plan is to read the chapter corresponding to the date of July. We all could use a lot more Wisdom in our lives. Feel free to post a favorite Proverb during the readings in July. Maybe we can be a help to others here.

I leave you with a thought by TaRanda Greene......"We all feel at times that we have seen our better days or that the best has come and gone; but we want to challenge you to remember that if you're breathing, there's still a purpose for you"

  • Mark Lowry says, "We don't help anyone by showing them our trophies, but we help everyone by showing them our scars".

  • ......perseverence is the key if we are sure and confident with our dd of Insmed.

Enjoying some time off the board while enjoying some reading some book series.......Joel C. Rosenberg, James Patterson, Janet Evanovich. Hope all are well.

Visium to Sell and Liquidate Funds After Insider Trading Charges

  • insmhistorian by insmhistorian Jun 19, 2016 12:00 AM Flag

I found this little tidbit on Business Insider.....

"Visium Asset Management, a multibillion-dollar hedge fund, has imploded in the biggest scandal to hit the industry in years. The fund told investors of its plan to close in a letter Friday........"

According to the March 31 report of Institution holdings, Visium Asset held approximately 1.5 million shares of Insmed.

NTM Phase III - June 14 2016 update

Zake, I just assume that there will be more than one round of dilution......but, I am a "pollyanna" sort with regards to the future of iPlex......8-)

I know some here won't like that talk about dilution......something about owning a lesser amount of the share of the company. I own less than .1% of the INSM shares, so I'm more interested in the share price. If I ever see my target price of $180.00/share......LOL........I will still get $180 x the number of shares I have......albeit a lesser piece of the pie. But, sorry everyone, I don't care.

......I thought of you as we were in your area last week......Boston/Cape Cod. We had a wonderful time on Cape Cod and seeing the sights, etc of the other islands and Provincetown. Did not like Boston......too much traffic jams. We walked around a little and drove some with our tour bus. In my opinion, Bostonians are certifiably nuts!!!! LOL. The male tour guide that joined our tour bus reminded me of my grandmother from years ago. When we were walking around, when crossing streets, he kept encouraging our group to cross against traffic lights and diagonally at some intersections. In fact, one of the funniest comments he had for some in our group was "....don't hesitate....put your foot out there and move forward......they will stop for you" LOL......that's exactly some of the things my grandmother used to say as we crossed the street in the middle of the block in front of a bus.........LOL

I don't want them to sell, but if you are right about them selling off vote is for them to sell Arikayce and keep....iPlex, igfbp3, and INSM-18

BO, as a local, what is the local bank stock you are talking about?

  • insmhistorian by insmhistorian May 30, 2016 3:12 PM Flag

Thank you all who served in the military.......but today I remember particularly those of your comrades who paid the ultimate sacrifice for my freedom. We as civilians remember those you served with that did not come back from war.

We went to our local Memorial Day service. We have two "Gold Star" families that we remember each year. The speaker today was a survivor of the 2001 Pentagon crash. One of the things he mentioned is that we can help a "Gold Star" family or brothers in arms get through this time by asking the name of the soldier who about things that they remember about him/her......always remember their service and sacrifice. We may disagree with the government and leaders, but we must remember the ultimate sacrifice for someone who died for us.

What do I remember? I remember 2016 is the 75th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor. I wasn't born yet, but I do know how it affected my parents and my wife's parents lives. I remember 2016 is the 15th Anniversary of the World Trade Towers........and how our lives even today are still affected. I remember 2016 is the 2nd Anniversary of a young man at church who was killed in action. I did not serve.......but I can do no less than to take time each year to "remember" go to a Memorial Day service and shed tears when the Armed Forces Medley is played and our present and past military stand........shed tears when they enact the "Battlefield Cross" for our 2 Gold Star families.........shed tears when a high school student plays "Taps".

  • insmhistorian by insmhistorian May 9, 2016 4:10 PM Flag taking a sabbatical for a while. I have been thinking of doing this for a while but couldn't bring myself to cut cold turkey......8-). Some posters, who I have admired over the years, helped nudge me into doing it now. Most of my free and leisure time will now be taken up in watching the Chicago Cubs. As of right now, things are pointing to a possible historic season (at least in my lifetime)......LOL.

    Take care.....and good luck.

    Terry only spouts disinformation

Jad, Terry said that? Isn't the 10-K and 10-Q filed with a federal agency? Don't officers have to certify them with signatures? I would imagine Insmed would not be happy to hear about what Terry said.

  • Below is something from the ARVO 2016 Annual Meeting Abstracts on May 5th (3 days ago). It references rhIGF-1/rhIGFBP-3 (which I won't put the common name for it

Anyway, just to keep everyone in the loop of something (or nothing) of interest. How does this fit into the licensing with Shire by way of Premacure? Surely someone here can provide clarity.......I dare say, I am no longer qualified. Thanks to Chinnois for providing the idea to dd (while watching the Cubs/Washington baseball game)

    GOOGLE the following:

Program Number: 6278 Poster Board Number: C0021
