I bought here a few months ago and made a fortune and doing the same right here on the 200 day
Just when you thought you were out... they pull you back in
Just give it time. After my dad died I started listening to this guru on YouTube. His name is Sadhguru. He's popular tbe world over. Check him out. He talks about everything, death of a loved one, drugs, sex, meditation etc. At tne very least he has nice hands and a soothing voice. We all handle this stuff differently. For me, well there is a meloncholic place that will be there forever but that's ok. It's what makes up the tapestry of life. Anyway, try and laugh sometimes. There is something absurd about it all-- senseless. All you can do is laugh to stop from crying. Thinking of you
You ok?
New research raises fresh questions about which cancer patients benefit from Avastin, a drug that lost its approval for treating breast cancer nearly two years ago.
Avastin did not prolong life when used as a first treatment for people with brain tumors like the one U.S. Sen. Edward Kennedy died of several years ago, two studies found. In one, patients who were expected to benefit the most from Avastin based on genetic testing had the worst survival rates. Side effects also were more common with Avastin
This stocks stink.... All of them.. FB, MEET, ZNGA, the whole lot is junk
Allow me to pontificate. If you are thinking about an investment in NWBO consider the following: First, the market cap is about 100 million. 100 million is the market cap for companies with good pre clinical data on a blockbuster drug. If you want I will give several examples. The pre-clinical data on DCVax Direct was per the company excellent. However, the data was not published. So you have to take the company's word. That said, the FDA was impressed enough to give them a broad indication for their upcoming Phase I/ii trial. That trial, however, was to start about 2 months ago per the company's press release dated March 4th wherein they stated that within approximately 60 days the trial would begin. It is now closer to 120 days. So be mindful of the delay. I would assign a value of 0 to the company's phase III trial for prostate cancer as they have talked about finding a partner for years and no one has expressed any interest. As for the the lead drug in their pipeline, DCVax-L, they have made great progress as they have manufacturing facilities in the US and 2 in Europe, one in Germany with Fraunhofer (a very prestigious institution) and King's College (another prestigious institution). This said, the German trials were to begin 3 months ago and for some reason that too has been delayed. Delays are not uncommon in the industry but it is cause for concern as the company refuses to talk about it. The company just did a raise for about 10 million and I suspect they have enough for anther 2 months or so. They don't need a lot of money to finish the Phase III Brain Cancer trial, about another 20 million (they have an untouched 5.5 million grant from the German state of Saxony) but that grant does them little good until Germany comes on line. The GBM drug has a potential market of several billion dollars. My thought is down here you risk about .20 cents and the upside could be several dollars. Be careful of the hype but that said, the risk/reward is
Oh well... Per Huang it seemed nothing more than a recap of what they said at Marcum which as nothing more that a recap of what they said at Roth, which was nothing more than a recap of....
To say we are upset with what has been happening at LTBR would be an understatement. For months, nay years, we have blindly put our faith in you and the team at LTBR. We have suffered incalculable financial loss despite record highs in all the indices. We have listen to your countless rants about matters only tangentially related to the business in which we placed our hard earned money. But this latest report is the proverbial straw. The idea that we should sit idly by while Ambassador Graham stuffs his gullet every morning with hash browns and spam is beyond the pale. I thus invite all 6 investors in LTBR--Super, Mac, CD, Froggy, Jimlam the moron, and Mark to join me in a march on LTBR's offices, to protest this new corporate development. We ask that a shareholder vote be undertaken regarding Toms diet or shall I say lack thereof. Lightbridge has done nothing for years. We are accustomed to that. But this omission is an act of cholesterol commission and it will not be tolerated.
I have made money every time in this pig... and this will not be the exception ... just have to be patient... I am thinking 1.25 might be it on some panic selling...
I own shares. I just don't want you guys to get hurt... The stock is trading crazy volume and not moving. They need money so any pop needs to be sold as a secondary is around the corner. That said, I AM LONG and I think good news is coming and rather exciting news. Downside risk is like a dime with the possibility of making a dollar short term. It is fine. Keep it
If this is a long term investment for you than I feel for you... How much money have you lost? Oh wait I know it is only a paper loss because you have not sold....
He is sticking it to the retail guys who think Powers is going to say something meaningful.... The question is why? This guy/guys has a boatload of stock... I think it is Sabby dumping the shares keeping the warrants which is what everyone does with this thing
I keep repeating this but I don't understand. In 2 trading days NWBO has traded 700,000. The tradable float is about 15 million. So in 2 days it has traded 5% of the float and hasn't moved! How? I imagine if they could just provide a good update there is just no more supply. It COULD and I repeat COULD really fly....
That was well reasoned and balanced. That said, I have to say: NWBO needs money. Now on the one hand this is expected. Every small cap biotech company needs money and tons of it. Look at the recent financials. It is clear. They burn 3 million a month. Perhaps the ramp up was needed for DCVax-Direct and now they only need 2 a month. Regardless, they were broke when Sabby bought in. They have about enough for another 6 weeks. So a secondary is coming. The trend is also clear: Each secondary is done at more onerous terms than the last. It is this I find most troubling. Most good companies there comes a time when the terms are better than the last. NWBO is going the wrong way and this is not a recent phenomenon. It has been going this way for years. I personally thought the Aegis financing was the last one done in the 4 area. But alas they did Sabby at 3.90 with warrants at 4.29. Moreover, if you look at the 10K there was 0 dollars from compassionate use. 0 dollars! This despite the claims by the company. The company is simply not transparent and imho hiding. Another thing, when these secondaries are done it also clear the institution is not keeping the stock. This tells me nobody has any real long term confidence in the company nor the science. They spin out the shares and keep the warrants. You do not do this with legitimate companies. Another thing, Germany is a real problem. Absent Germany, you can forget the enrollment guidelines the company has given. Perhaps this is why the focus is not DCVax-Direct. I have a few shares left. But I have lost total confidence in this company. I take one look at their website and I understand why the market does not buy this story. It is getting long in the tooth.
There is some serious dumping in this stock and the reasons I think are really varied: First, no institutional support. The company has done an horrendous job of garnering any real support. So you have no institutional interest. Second, the company is AGAIN under capitalized. I imagine another offering is around the corner. It has to be as they burn 3 million a month and they raised 10 million approx. 3 months ago. It can not be refuted that EVERY secondary is done at lower and lower prices. This says notwithstanding what the company is saying in terms of milestones the market is essentially assigning 0 value. And honestly, the market is right. The company spent millions getting Fraunhofer certified yet Germany is now on hold. The company issues no 8K, no PR, instead the silence speaks to something ominous. Looking back, the company said the DCVax-Direct trial was 60 days out. It has been closer to 90 and no PR no 8K. Anyone look at the website of this company? Ohhh my goodness!!! The company refuses to put out enrollment numbers. The company has been sued in the past regarding misleading PR. Thinkjng about it is it really any wonder that this stock is basically at all time lows and STILL the selling is huge! Every time they do a raise you get the feeling the institution buying it is spinning it out just as fast, even taking a loss but justifying it with the warrants. I don't' see though that much risk down here. Maybe 3.50....
