Saudi Arabia is flooding the market with cheap oil. This is hurting profits in oil here. However, its really hurting profits in Russia and elsewhere. Its destroying their currency. They are dumping dollars but the dollar just keeps going up because they are finding their way back to our stock-market and we can if we choose be energy independent any time we as a nation desire to.. Lets all be very thankful the US now has more proven oil reserves than anywhere else in the world. It will have no effect on PLUG and the products they are producing. PLUG'S products do what they are designed for. 100% clean indoor use and silent running. This is PLUG's real market. However, that being said- if FedEx actually did connect hydrogen to its delivery fleet we all become filthy rich. I would be very happy with all their folk lift business and refrigeration needs- it seems FedEx like Walmart and Kroger are all happy with PLUG and are continuing down that road. . IMHO

Green trucks would be nice, however its the inside work and refrigeration that is important. I have not seen them stop building hydrogen infrastructure at their distribution centers and have not heard any negative news on their airport cargo movers. It doesn't mater how cheap gas gets hydrogen is a better product for indoor use and quiet refrigeration. If Walmart, FedEx and Kroger go to hydrogen refrigeration in their trucks this becomes a triple digit stock. Loud, stinky, refrigeration trucks that have to keep their diesels running 24 hours a day are not going to be tolerated for much longer in rest areas, motels etc. IMHO

  • An International company just released its plans to build a new mega hydrogen storage, natural gas conversion and distribution center in California. I have no idea if that is good or bad for PLUG but it is nice to know there is movement towards a much larger hydrogen market . . I am not sure if that is competition or companionship? I think either is good - they both spell growth IMHO. Those new hydrogen powered cars need-dare I say it- Hydrogen to power them. Now that's a fact!

  • The world is flush with ultra massive newly discovered oil reserves. You can burn cheap oil in very remote areas to run cars on hydrogen in very congested areas. New oil burning plants can be built to contain 100% of all the pollution within these new plants with our technology . You could easily run all the cars in all the major cities using oil converted to hydrogen hundreds of miles from major metro areas. The answer is both. All hydrogen can be burned cleanly indoors virtually anywhere with no special building codes- oil can't. That why its perfect for forklifts or luggage movers or truck refrigeration or any indoor application or refrigeration. Its even silent! You can burn it in submarines - sharing the same air with the crew.-anywhere it is burned it can share the very same air with humans. It's a win win! Lots of oil can create lots of hydrogen! If you get thirsty you can even drink what you get when you burn it! How about a hydrogen fork lift with a built in cold water tap? Great for the fork lift operator on those hot days.

Check out Fox News home page. Honda just went all in on hydrogen. Fed-ex will do the same soon. If my research is correct - check it out yourself.
