I anticipate the payout to be either tomorrow July 18th or Monday July 21. The merger agreement indicates that they paying agent was to receive funds prior to or at the effective time of closing the merger. According to a company contact in Beijing the funds were transmitted to the paying agent. Then the paying agent was supposed to mail a transmittal letter to shareholders (or brokers) within 5 business days of the effective time. They're a bit late, this is not unusual in an international transaction, particularly a small one like this. Also note, that while the paying agent invests the funds until they are paid out, "Earnings from investments, subject to the immediately preceding proviso, shall be the sole and exclusive property of Parent." So, yes, any interest on the funds goes back to the company. Good luck to all, the YONG journey should soon be concluded.
