I recently made another drive-by of the Conway Ecosphere office and here again found that all trailer are out and in the Fayetteville shale pumping away I suspect. Usually about 10 cars and company trucks and that has not changed over the last year . They are mainly a service center evidentally, because from time to time their will be a trailer or two in the lot, for what looks like clean-up and/or service.
Effective April 15 of this year, the Texas Railroad Commission, in an effort to encourage water conservation(in a very drought plagued climate) has removed regulatory hurdles that make it much easier for oil and gas operators to recycle water. In the same breath, they are discouraging the use of injection wells(which has been the norm) in the Texas boom in the past. In the same blog they made note of a Wall Street Journal report that fluid recycling has the potential to be a multi-billion dollar industry. Are we just early??
