Stock will be $7+ just mark this post and remind me. Sometimes fate deals you an opportunity to make a lot of money, just step up and buy and hold. Remember the Spring results, nothing has changed and THE FRIGGING DRUG WORKS AND WORKS VERY WELL.
I think they lower PT because time = money and this has definitely caused a 6 month lag in our progress to an approved ampion.
Please, please use a little common sense. Do you really think the FDA would approve a 500 patient study with one site ? This will be addressed and if Company misrepresents regarding FDA then every study they have underway will be cancelled by the FDA. Bottom line is you can't lie about FDA requirements or sites and I know Ampe management is not that stupid. For a trial to be successful there must be a random mix of patients from several parts of the Country y and not concentrated in one area and certainly not on city. Come on man, use a little common sense here.
You really need to do more research before you post the same misinformation that the blogger posted. First of all there were 17 sites doing the STEP study. Do you really think the FDA would approve a 500 patient study with only one site ? You must be really naive. Most info on the clinical site will only list one clinical site and they do this for a specific reason as to eliminate needless phone calls to every site. The Spring study had 9 sites and the optina trials are being done at 23 sites. This is the real information which you can believe.
12 out of 14 trading days we are down. Still bullish but getting awful nervous, so I ask you again is there a chance the 20 week results that ended yesterday could not be as good as expected ? At this point I would settle for good results and a pain relief med as opposed the "home run" cartilage regen aspect of ampion. At this point give me $15 per share and I am happy.
doron your name should be moron. I am 73 years old and have no frigging reason to lie to anyone. I could probably buy and sell you 100 times and have plenty of money left over to buy more ampe. Your my friend are the fool here.
Really good PR this a.m. and with biotech index up almost 2% does anyone understand why we are dead in the water today, yesterday and last week ? Ok, so the shorts are still in control I get that but at what point does this change ?
This too shall pass and one day POOF up we go to $10+ but I would be the first to admit this stock will test every nerve in your body especially if you own as many shares as I do.
trusty, Never exactly bearish, just frusted the M/M were driving the stock price from the high $8's down to the mid $6's. We longs will win and win BIG but with the number of shares I have I tend to let my emotions get the best of me on some days. No, No, I remain very bullish as someday we will cash out in a big way.
Sources I have a lot of confidence in but I could never disclose for oblivious reasons. It amazes me that the "Big 4" of Pharmas are all showing sincere interest but J & J interest really surprised me as I don't see ampion as a good fit except as a hedge for their Dupuy division (world's largest total knee replacement supplier)
Brotheroday and billwilliams, Both of you make valid points. I have great respect for J&J as they make me a multimillionaire in early 2000 when they bought a company named Scios (they had a treatment for CHF called natrecor) for $45 cash and my average cost was around $3.50 per share. I was very surprised to see they are probably going to be one of the major pharmas chasing marketing rights for ampion. Could only assume other than pain relief they were hedging their investment in Dupuy by acquiring the marketing rights for ampion with the chance (even though maybe slight) that regen of cartilage in knees was a possibility. Just my thoughts on the matter and only time will prove who is right on this one.
Appreciate your thoughts but I do strongly disagree with your take on the 5 year effect on knee replacements. I had a total kr in 2009 on right knee and in late 2013 total kr on my left knee and I can tell you I had waited and hoped for stem cell regen for cartilage even before I had to have the tkr in 2009. If OA 3-4 patients saw just a glimmer of hope with ampion injections they would wait as my friend, a total knee replacement and the rehab is a horrible 3-4 month experience. Then the BIG IF comes if ampion does in fact regen cartilage then J & J would drive the marketing rights of ampion to unbelievable heights. All of this will play out within the next 12 months as I understand the multiple injections of ampion for stem cell activation and cartilage regen begins almost immediately. Very excited about the prospects as this would be HUGE and would also apply to other medical conditions. HUGE HUGE and the price of ampe goes ballistic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would not have thought J&J would make a play for ampe until I realized they own DePuy (manufacturers of replacement knees which is a huge market). Now I get it, if ampion is showing signs of cartilage regrowth then the reduced need for knee replacement would almost immediately cut into the sales of DePuy and over a period of time may reduce the need for knee replacements by 70-80% so if J&J should be the high bidder for ampion then they hedge their bet. I'm hearing the marketing rights after the BLA is filed for ampion could be as high as 1 billion with a 15-20% royalty worldwide. There are other big Pharmas interested as well so let us hope a bidding war begins after the BLA is filed. Comments please.
Good decision I believe as I believe now 3 major Pharmas are super interested in the results of ampion. Those are 3 of the largest pharma is the whole world. So pretty impressive.
Truly amazing how easily this stock can be manipulated
Just wanted your take on the risk regarding robust results continuing to the 20 week trial. Is there just the slight risk the results could disappoint ??? Thanks in advance
