Bill Gross, who in April said a bet against German bunds is the “short of a lifetime,” said the next new opportunity is wagering against Chinese stocks.
Gross’s bet against bunds is now “happening,” he wrote in a Twitter message on Wednesday. “Up next - China Shenzhen index. Not just yet...”
“Chinese retail investors are opening up new accounts at a record pace and fueling the almost hyperbolic rise in prices,” he wrote. “At the same time, Chinese exports are slowing and its currency -- the yuan -- is becoming increasingly uncompetitive to other Asian currencies because it is tied to the dollar.”
DMND is dead money still and is going to be in this trading range for awhile. The short-term covering is done for now and it should go back to it's normal trading range. See you soon and 14.
I have been bombarded with emails to buy this. So I checked on this company. There bags are a marketable product, but when you look at there latest 10Q, they so far have no revenue streams coming in. The 10Q states they are a company still in development. I saw no cash on hands in the 10Q either, and it makes me wonder how they can possibly afford a 2for1 dividend right now.
Yes. A technical breakout. Technical breakouts are just simply supply and demand. Continuous accumulation most likely from institutional investors has caused a breakout. Breakouts in many instances happen before good news comes out and is not timed by institutions, they simply see long-term potential and are accumulating initial base positions to hold and trade off the top and accumulate off of technical bottoms for several years. So over-all this is not good for those that are short.
TheStreet Ratings rates Arena Pharmaceuticals as a sell. The area that we feel has been the company's primary weakness has been its meager revenue growth.
what a frig-gin joke!!! LOL!!!
This is typical for most break-outs. A pull-back on lighter trade vs the break-out day. Still has to shake out weak holders. Sell me your shares!!
Long-term holders-don't get shaken out..The longer it consolidates, the more it will naturally wear people down and cause them to sell. Don't sell your shares to the market makers.
The only way the mm's can free up shares is to let the pps run up. They keep trying to shake retail holders out by trying to pull the share price down, and it fails every-time. Simply the price is too low vs the future potential and no-one is going to sell there share's at this low price. The shorts further will not give up until they let the share price run-up-the price needs to run-up to finally create a short capitulation. This is the only way for the mm's to free up shares to sell to the institutional demand on the buy side currently.
Yes indeed. Know what you own. This stock at this point should be accumulated on every pull-back. Always keep cash on hands to accumulate in increments when it pulls-back. All pull-backs from here on out are a gift.
