I had the same problem a few months ago. Apparently, there are several formats for the SD cards. When the format is wrong, Windows 8 will not recognize the card when you insert it into your card slot. . You can reformat the SD card with your Windows 8 system and then it will work fine.

  • I don't get notifications by mail anymore. When is the meeting? When can we vote our shares?

I will be voting against any board members. Does anyone know what other proposals are on the slate?

Has anyone tried to submit a shareholder proposal for consideration?

  • Higher volume move up. No news. Anyone have an idea or find something new about Bsquare?

Well, you have a point there. No real leadership. Windows Phone is where IOS and Android were several years ago. It is a growing ecosystem and the field is wide open for new app development. You can plug in any of the favorite business terms: "think outside the box", "Paradigm shift", "Sea Change"...

Bsquare needs some new management with the vision to take some risks and actually try and grow their business. They are in a land of opportunity but for some reason they won't try and capture some of the low hanging fruit.

They are stuck. Reselling MS software is a great way to get your your foot in the door. They just don't or won't go for the large opportunities - like their own IP, software solutions, and partnerships that will pay per device.

Change is needed whether it comes from inside (come on, go team!) or from outside with new management.

  • It is really difficult to wade through all of the childish banter and personal attacks on this stock message board. Does someone have a list of all of the ID's that should be ignored to get beyond this?

I appreciate the thoughtful posts that relate to the Nokia business both positive and negative. It's too bad that Yahoo doesn't clean up boards like this so that serious investors can share valid information without the trash posts.

Thanks in advance to anyone that has such a list. And, feel free to bash and trash this post so I can identify IDs to ignore.

Glad to see that there are still a few folks following Bsquare. I have held this way too long. At least I am in the money. I really expected much more from this team but there is very little to get excited about. As a shareholder, I believe that the best way to realize the value here would be to sell the company. Short of that, I still maintain that making a change at CEO and CFO might get this company growing again. Lots of opportunities but poor vision continue to hold Bsquare back.Changing the board would also be good. Maybe then some management changes would happen.

  • Sure is quiet. I can't say I expect too much for the 1st qtr. It looks like they may be working on some soda machines again. That didn't create much rev last time. Maybe they have a better contract this go-around.

Anyone heard or read new info about Bsquare? What about China Mobile? Testquest? Windows 8?

  • "leak online detailing mock-ups for the Adidas miCoach app that were presented on a Nokia-branded tablet." From Hindustan times.

There are more articles from the Verge and other sources. They all seem to mention the 2011 patent. It seems significant that multiple sources are writing about a Nokia tablet now. Hopefully Nokia will bring easy connectivity between their phones and tablet This is what my hope for the Windows 8 ecosystem is. While there is a lot of consumer interest in the Windows 8 phones and especially the 920 in the US, a fully connected ecosystem of the phone, tablet and desktop will make this a great platform for business.

I currently use Windows 8 on my 920 and one of my laptops. They are working well together but I sure would like a tablet and desktop with touchscreen capability. That is how Windows 8 is designed and it takes a bit of learning to use use the desktop and laptop with a mouse and point-and-click. Touch is the way to go.

The release of a Nokia tablet should bring in a significant source of revenue and help sell more Windows 8 phones.

As an investment, NOK looks to be turning around quickly. The earnings on April 18th will be important but I will be more interested in the forward guidance. And, I hope to hear news about a Windows 8 tablet coming in the near future.

Thanks for the post. That is a really well done ad. I especially like it when the young man gets his colleague to help with a hardware question. That is a great hook at the end.
