Also realize you are looking two years back. A better assessment may be '1' year back. That's about when Tuttle left and Kinnon came in.. and everything began to change. New website. New products released in wave after wave. New marketing board members. Accelerating earnings. This is in many ways a new company relative to what it was 2 years ago. In last 8 months.. price has relatively its floor and shows evidence of accumulation on high volume every time when in touches the lows. That tells a different story.

Because short interest is at an all time high, perhaps.. with just 4 days to cover. Shorts are traders.. not investors. Short interest was high on Tesla in 2013 as well... just before it ran 500 percent in 5 months. TBIO can do that inside of a month or less, given the float size. This is the most risky time to be short this stock for many reasons, I feel.
Every big runner has it's bottom. TBIO has made major positive changes over last year (and there has been virtually no bad news).. and I think a better way of looking at it is that price is about where it was last December 2014. In that time frame, major indexes have fallen whereas TBIO has just sort of held its ground, relatively. I think its very telling that TBIO did not collapse in this last correction. That.. and the falling wedge on the daily candlestick chart was broken to the upside on high volume.
The company is doing everything right. It's market forces applying pressure. That disparity can only last so long..
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Meaningful revenue is appearing in the U.S. and Europe now. That seems like a enough of an assurance to me. Furthermore, and I don't know much about this.. but does China really have more regulatory hurdles? I thought China was generally known for lack* of regulation.
The Chinese have enormous financial surpluses. Japan is the 3rd largest economy in the world. I respect your opinion to disagree.. but I think I've made valid points indicative of a colossal market opening its arms to Transgenomic...... Asia. If we're going just off population numbers, Japan has 127 million people. Chinese population is 1.2 billion. This is a total of almost 1.4 billion people. U.S. population is 320 million. So doing the numbers, this could conceivably quadruple TBIO's revenues concerning ICE COLD PCR.. as the Asian populations are over 4x that of U.S. I haven't calculated in Europe.. so it may be a little less. But overall... this represents enormous potential revenue generation.
Who knows. What I can say is that short interest at all time high can provide the short-covering fuel for a parabolic reversal higher. That type of overload happens.. as well as in reverse when bullish sentiment is too high. Whoever bought at $2.30 could well be an institutional investor who has no intention of selling whatsoever and is not concerned with price fluctuations. I have to reiterate.. the buying is almost always on high volume and the selling on light.. especially on weekly and monthly timeframes. That indicates accumulation.
Closed up 7 percent on high volume. That's evidence of accumulation. It sometimes takes time for trends to turn. When one day the gains hold.. and then the next and the next... you've got yourself a new uptrend in liquid biopsy. Watch TBIO's cousins, BIOC and TROV. These are moving almost in lockstep.
Hang in there, I'm right there with you on holding.. and I think you will be rewarded for your patience.
Sellers will eventually exhaust supply.. and I know this because I can't be the only one who isn't trading this, but investing. It's a different paradigm. Traders whip this around because of stop loss rules, targets and whatever other protocols they're using.. and don't care about the company. Short sellers exert pressure as well. But investors who understand this company and the potential for liquid biopsy long-term simply accumulate on price decline, of which there is evidence (high volume up days, low volume sell offs).
When a new uptrend takes shape, I think you will see it's an enduring end to the downtrend that began in 2000. Transgenomic is, I feel, an entirely new company relative to where it began. New management. New product line. Accelerating earnings. I see recent changes in board / management and the changes to the product line and website as the IPO / rebirth. Only the company name and ticker remain the same.
Frobert.. this one seems like extremely good news. Basically initial accessing markets of the Eastern Hemisphere. India and Korea will likely be next.
Notice the move is on high volume. Even when the gains fade.. these up days are clear signs of accumulation. That's why you can have bullish price action in a downtrend.. or evidence of accumulation.
The fundamentals of this stock are running opposite to price action.. the company's earnings, news and prospects only keep getting better, yet price continues to fall. This disparity is not sustainable, and price will eventually have to reflect the golden fundamentals / news.
I've got to run some errands.. but just skimming news, TBIO just accessed Asian markets. U.S. has population of 300 million +. China has population of over a billion. Talk about expanding your market space..
Well done TBIO.
I'd say every day that passes is a day closer to it.. so we have 6 months out of the way.
I think the next dramatic move higher is probably either going to come from -
a - TBIO's collaboration with the other big biotechs on pilot studies
b - news of F.D.A. and TBIO. They're talking about something (reference last CC).. just not sure what
This could come at any time.. and is why it's INSANE to sell now, especially this deep into a correction. TBIO can conceivably vault a few hundred to a thousand percent in a month one big news. It happens all the time with stocks this cap size on news like this..
No slowdown of any sort is going to stop TBIO's earnings from escalating IMO. I just can't see large cap biotechs remotely easing up on interest in liquid biopsy either. The risk is too great not to remain competitive. TBIO has ICE COLD. All the big players will want to give it a spin..
These are the days you buy. Risk is simply lower at these levels. It's a beautful bear / correction.. and a gift to bulls who are not yet invested and a test to those who are. Why would you ever sell now of all times? You dig in. You fight. Had you never sold the S&P and weathered the storm in 2008.. you'd be up 50% now. You buy and hold. Be strong.. be tough.
Why would anyone sell now? If you are an investor.. this moment is GOLD. Who cares if the market falls more.. you should be worried it doesn't, and that you'll miss your chance. This is a beautiful correction / bear. You have to learn to see the beauty in it.. and the opportunity.
This is a perfectly normal correction by historical standards.. one that everyone has been waiting on. These are the days you keep a cool head and buy everything that's been on your wish-list but was running to hot to chase. If the market falls more, buy more. Forget trading. Invest in good growth companies selling at value that *you* have researched.. not what someone else has told you about. You want the next Apple or Intuitive Surgical? Go find it. For me for instance, my vote is for the liquid biopsy space. Cancer detection in the blood.. prevention before it spreads and / or detailed monitoring on a genomic level. It just seems so obvious to me. TBIO TROV BIOC. But you may have something different. Find it.. something revolutionary. Fall in love with the company *if it deserves it*.. become a part of it in your mind. Ride the growth for a few thousand percent over the years.. then coast on dividends. That's how you do it...
It's just so low risk at this point. We're seeing parallel strength in other players in the field.. TROV and BIOC. Neither as well as TBIO has participated in the gapping drop of world indexes. Liquid biopsy issues have really held the lows of two weeks ago where few others have.
Liquid biopsy is in for a hot, multi-year bull run eventually. It's inevitable. I'd just accumulate... collect and collect... and chill. I just like TBIO because it's liquid biopsy and so much more. The ICE COLD PCR tech is bedrock.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
God if I had any spare cash.. I would be buying with both hands. My entry price was good.. but just the psychological payoff to averaging down into this weather is unmatched. Sigh..
Initial drop is 6200 on volume of shares. This is nothing. This drop is a low volume illusion. If I had more cash on hand... man. These are the days you buy. As Napoleon said, I found the crown of France in the gutter, and I picked it up. Pick up the crown...
He absolutely speaks the truth.
This can totally happen as it did last Friday. We can end the day green.. but we must hold together.. united as one. If you feel any fear to sell.. that is your moment to buy.. to hold.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Today we can draw a line in the sand. Hold your shares. Don't move.. don't budge. We are 300. Visualize the connection. We are living the proverbial heroes story.. right now. Lift your shields and laugh at the arrows raining down all around us. You and I have the power to bend fate and make a floor in this stock. It's true.. and you have to believe this. ***We proved it last Friday.. and we can do it again today*** Hold or buy.. but do not sell. We are in this together..
Sentiment: Strong Buy
