The most money I have made on this pig over the last 43 years has been buying between 1 9/16 and 1 1/16 and just sit back for a triple or more. Can't begin to tell you how many times this has happened and it is going to happen again. As far as I am concerned I do not & will not worry about .25-50 cents either way as it will all come back too me. I don't know where the low is going too be here but I do know that the most I can loose is $1.55 per share. So that said I have become a buyer (slow & easy} here for the uptinth time.
Good luck all on this no brainer.

No Olly these are not new lows. The company first had an underwriting ( now know as an IPO for you YOUNGSTERS) in 1971 at $1.00 per share. It was a Regulation A -- 300,000 shares at one buck per share.
I remember buying this stock as low as 15/16 and maybe 7/8 --- we did not trade by the pennies in those days, a 1/16 (.06.25) was as low as they got. What might be throwing your chart off is that the name of the Company when it first went public was Western States Mining Co.
There was probably 200 + companies that came public from Colorado-Wyoming in the 70's and USEG is one of the very few if not the only one that did a Reg. A that is still around. They can knock the Larsen family all they want on this rag board but the company has survived all these years and It is a better company then it has been in 43 years, thanks to the sons of the founder, ( ie Keith) that took over when there Father Jack passed on.

Oilly if you need any more info from many years ago let me know but please don't post something from a chart that you are leading these poor people to think you are some kind of expert.!!

    Thanks,
    Iron

Ps: the stock traded as high as $40.00+ In the 70's --- Magic word then was --WORLD CLASS MOLY-LOL

where is the bottom on this?

Bciisn -- forget about trying to pick a bottom -- or a top for that matter. Stock is very cheap-- I think the smart money is picking away slowly here but does not care if it goes some lower ie give or take a quarter or a half they (we) are going to be rewarded big time as so often in the passed.
    Just my opinion.

Ps: as per the couple hundred thousand shares a day the idiots or bailing and the smart money is buying is accumulating. I.

Hey MW, nice to hear your still kicking.
Yuh my ole man used to say -- time waits for no man-- I used to think "oh yuh,
sure , ok, what ever"-- but now I know what he was talking about -- LOL
Yep I am not rushing in here on USEG just buying slowly. Looking back I don't know how many times it's been but it's been a bunch through the years that we were able to buy this ole pig in the 1's and sell it in the 3's,4's,5's and even if we fell asleep sometimes in the 6's lol.
You know I would really love to see this thing trade under a buck being we are this low in just a short time. Looked like they were taking a little bit of a stand on Friday. Wish they would stay out of the way just imagine how many shares we could pocket with 10 grand around 6bits to 5/8 of a buck. We would think we were back in the penny stock days. LOL
Any who I don't really care what these guys print on this rag sheet -- all I know is this stock has been made me many $$$ through the years by just buying when every one thinks it's piece of #$%$ and going broke and selling when everybody loves it and saying it's going to $20.00
Nice to hear from you MW..
    Regards,,

  • Wish the buyers would get the h. out of the way for a couple of day's & let this pig try to get below a buck. Man would we have fun at say .80-.90 cents!!

Yep he was posting on USEG when he was really bad. I remember him saying he would not be around long enough to see different things about the company. To bad he missed that run up to 5 & then this, he would have had fun.
Did you see that someone or some group made a $10 million dollar bet the other day that oil would he higher in March then it is now. Be interesting to see if they cash.
