Gotta reach back over 2000 years to find an example, eh?
What was the state of scientific knowledge then?
What was the fate of folks with cancer under His eye?
A really poor response.
State your qualifications to offer an opinion with a way to verify them.
Till then you are just a pair of soiled shorts
and an ally of cancer!
That's an easy barrier to surmount.
As science advances most MDs struggle to keep up in general.
I value your commentary, hypotheticals aside.
They don't have the funding ( thanks to the republicans) to do much and with big $ now able to buy legislative votes..We are at the bottom of the pecking order.
Similarly, if we completely funded the IRS, most of the deficit would vanish.
Yaaaa...good luck with that.
PS...It should be obvious that if we do have a way to cure cancer, or contribute to it, this investment stands to make us wealthy!
Like any attempt to find a cure for cancer, history shows us that the odds are steeply against us.
You have to be stupid or naive not to know that. This is speculation, flat out.
Look at the clinical trials results...If there's truth anywhere, it's there.
Some of ours look pretty good, so far, and one of them is awe inspiring!
I liked the science years ago, long before J&E, and bought in then.
I'm a cancer survivor, it was very rough in 1980, chemo and surgeries.
Now i'm an old guy and my friends are dying of cancer all around me.
You are a soiled short here and therefore a friend of cancer on the hope of making a few bucks.
You must have a really ugly, shriveled soul starfe.
We should have been in human clinical trials for HER2 human cancers years ago!
A curse wrought by prior management.
I've a friend with HER2 breast cancer, it's in her bones now. She's an excellent artist
Her oncodoc never mentioned clinical trials and they are looking into "alternative medicine"!
So, last night i entered "HER2 clinical trials" in a search engine....
And got page after page of results!!!! Some of those were other immunos and it looks like we are way behind most of them!
Can't help but feel that we've been extremely myopic on this board, ignoring the world outside.
That's not a good way to make investment decisions.
Ah; just saw this...
If the Chinese market has seriously slumped, the advantage in taking WuXi private and delisting it in China shrinks.

SHANGHAI (Reuters) - Chinese stocks tumbled again on Friday, taking the week's losses to more than 10 percent, as the securities regulator said it was investigating suspected market manipulation and announced a slew of measures aimed at heading off a full-blown crash.
After a slump of nearly 30 percent in Chinese stocks since mid-June, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) has set up a team to look at "clues of illegal manipulation across markets".
After market close, a CSRC spokesman said China would cut initial public offerings and capital raisings and support long-term investors entering the market to help stabilize prices."
Why else would he go against his fiduciary duty to the shareholders so flagrantly?
It's a screwing with no little kisses!
It's a pretty juicy bet now...Good chance it won't get that low unless the market collapses.
This is a long term buy and hold stock and depends on how the science proves out and the FDA approvals , etc.
None of that happens fast.
If you can't wait, go elsewhere and stop sniveling.
Perhaps it matters that the mainland Chinese stock market has pulled back some.
I'm guessing that relisting there is the motivation for taking it private. ( what fiduciary duty to shareholders?).
If the buyout doesn't go through, we stand to profit nicely in the near future.
