This is an early term biotech and the PPS will flop around till the science comes home.
It's a LTB&H proposition. Relax, it has some years to go.
I first bought ISRG at around $80.
Earnings just came in looking pretty good.
Looks like you have a case of short-mouth.
British Artist-Blacksmith Assn...Seriously thought about subscribing to their mag, It's supposed to be good and some of their members are world class... but passed
Earnings were hardly miserable. They only slightly missed analyst's targets, which are pretty imaginary. The company is still growing nicely and this drop is a buying opportunity.
Note; i bought this stock at around $10...Relax and sit on your shares.
Big and small drug companies are increasingly going to companies like ours to do their clinical trials.
I see the company established a tech discussion forum..Seemingly admirable....
But it turns out that they are censoring entries that might not be in their interest!
Like discussions of open internet ( that they lobbied against) etc.
Screw that! I'm for Democracy!!
I'm going to sell every damn share i've held for years, despite the nice dividend and the PPS gain...
Going to take a decent profit and give VZ the finger while waggling my tongue!
Also canceling my VZ phone service...That's enough of VZ!
Curiously, yahoo is showing it as up 50% at .03 today and i'd an ameritrade order in at .03 for a week now without it's being filled.
Funky action. OTOH, as volatile as it has been, one might make a decent buck if the orders actually filled.
Cele, i think 134 shares is a fine amount of this stock to hold, total.
I was a marine bio major and spent cumulative years under water off the CA coast. When the offshore oil operations came in off Santa Barbra the environmental degradation was dramatic and disheartening. The amount and quality of marine life including the fisheries fell off sharply. It was really BAD!
There are natural oil and methane seeps offshore there, like in the gulf, and they are small enough that marine life has pretty well adjusted to it . Much of the methane is eaten by marine bacteria that in turn become fish food.
In the deep oceans, where it's cold and in the shallower waters as well, nearer the poles, there are enormous amounts of frozen methane hydrate . Much more of it than all the oil and gas everywhere. It's been demonstrated that much of it is recoverable. As the oceans warm, it is being released into the atmosphere at an increasing rate. Methane is 20 odd times stronger a greenhouse gas than CO2.
My previous point was that NG drillers and processors need to tighten up their operations a whole lot, for any claims of environmental benefit to ring true.
Robert, your research is usually much better than what you have stated on this subject. We both have money on this dog.
Sounds like fiction to me Baron. I know a few folks in the field and the vast majority of them and most of the peer reviewed papers hold the opposite views. The influence of vested interest is dramatically stronger in the anti-warming cabal who are speaking their financial interest. Saying the academics are in it for the $ is absurd as most of them could work for the oil companies at much more money.
.02!!! An exciting new low!
Shoulda waited to buy Cele...Me too,
could become a literal penny stock, disappear, or soar to 5 cents.
Small loss for you, big loss for me as i entered at around 14 bucks as i recall.
TSTC lied to us so convincingly!
Recent studies show that the leakage of methane from Fracking operations offsets the benefits of CO2 reductions of NG presently
Methane ( NG) is a vicious atmospheric warming gas.
I would guess that if you have LNG, or the means to make it,, expanding that to CNG is pretty simple, cheap and straightforward.
Look: The PPS is going to Yoyo between earnings reports until we have substantial positive cash flow, little debt, and predictable growth.
Please spare us the histrionics until then.
It has been done Paul and work continues to develop the necessary tech.
It's a question of the economics of the conversion.
If the company is actually there and functioning, and it actually survives..
You got it cheap, unlike myself.
Though i did just buy some at .04 just for ships and giggles.
We've had lots worse, recently. Seen more progress of late than in years.
Just wish all the $,time and effort went straight into the clinical programs and R&D.
