There's a curious note in the Dec Science News referring to a Nature article that notes the possibility that several people who got cadaver derived, HGH injections, subsequently died of Alz and may have been infected with the amaloyd(sp)-beta possibly acquired as a prion like disease(Mad cow disease).
Wrong board again..go away please.
Thank you Dr Dad, that's encouraging...Your response is appreciated.
Not even decent poetry and me thinks thou doth protest too much.
You say you are not a fool 6 times.
Clearly neither you nor i believe that.
How could we possibly trust the judgement of someone who self-identifies with a vehicle that's so inanely overpowered?
Anticipation, wishful thinking and expectation make it easy to set one's self up for disappointment.
Jon: my uneducated guess is, not very. It's a computer model of something we just don't understand very well. The human brain is staggeringly complex chemically, neurologically, hormonally and so on.
I take it as another encouraging hint...But not much more.
What will be much more definitive is the large, double blinded, phase 3 clinical trials.
Until then, this is something of a gamble...I'm taking it myself, but there is a larger element of uncertainty.
You are right to question the certainty of future trials results. Hope and wishful thinking is a very strong force in this arena and i think most of us longs are more than a bit naive.
Dado, thanks for your excellent contributions!
Do you think neuroinflammation could result in protein misfolding?
There are a lot of arguments in favor of ISRG. Faster recovery times saves everybody money. Less blood loss , smaller incisions, no surgeon;s shaky hands , better visualization of surgical field than laprosocpic and so on. The range of surgeries that we can do keeps expanding and the installed base of skilled surgeons and machines keeps expanding.
The potential to expand into other fields is enormous as well.
The wonderful rate of innovation early on has slowed unfortunately, but there is no real competition.
This is intended as a public forum. To sneak a commercial message into that context is dishonest and plain scuzzy parasitism.
So yes, i'm judgmental as are most folks on a financial message board. You showed extremely poor judgement by posting commercial spam on a public board.
The right thing to do is to pay for your advertisement like everybody else. That supports the site we are using and honestly lets folks know your intent.
I always wondered why someone who was going to die because he jacked up the cost of the drug they needed, wouldn't show up and take him with them as they went out of this life?
Cause they lost a conflict with their neighbors. No GPS?.
Those folks have been at each other's throats for maybe 5000 years.
The Bedouins are still wandering the desert
Cash, we agree.
I'm long on XON and pro most GMOs
But the folks that'd go for your argument are a minority of the opposition and belatedly fear the release of any GMO.
And while our oxitec proposal is safer,
I wouldn't object to designing a gene drive to snuff the whole blood sucking species. Don't tell anyone i said that.
