The second half of 2016 is going to be sweet for AMD since they are going to begin caching on all their work. They did not have control on when the chip foundries could deliver 14 nm and 16 nm chips, but not that they do they are head to head competitive with Intel, and then plus.. since AMD's architecture provides a cheaper implementation than Intel's.
AMD only needs to recapture its lost market share from Intel and NVIDIA, that is a lot easier than Intel and NVIDIA that only have to lose their current market share.. A lot of people went to Intel and NVIDIA because they were the only ones with better current technology, now it is different and AMD my kick bu with their new Zen/HBM/HSA/etc. hardware, software, and gaming technologies.
I see a big profit maker 5x to 10x in the next couple of years. AMD already has potential access to 7nm technology so Intel will be sweating and spending 10's of billions of dollars to catch up, which is why they are laying off 12,000 people..
