THE GAP FREAKS NEED TO #$%$

    by tupakdarbec Feb 26, 2014 1:26 PM

The algos have never seen a pattern with such a heavy short for such a long time and so they don't understand that the gap measurements must be taken in weeks not days/minutes/hours/seconds....which means that they don't understand the gaps don't exist and are actually huge movements to recover the original gaps in the mid teems....don't worry, BBRY will teach the coders to expand their time horizons ....meanwhile, if you want the dang gaps filled so bad then artificially recreate them as low as you want via shorting like you have never shorted before and bring it down your self for a few minutes, the longs will be happy to take your money from you when it rubberbands back to 11.on its way to filling in the 15.23 to 17.11 gaps. Its a free country....make those artificial gaps as low as you want...its your money...for a little bit longer before it becomes ours....

There is room enough due to bandwidth shortage. But which would you prefer to work with....a government controlled organization or a private organization.....the privatization will make a ton of money, the govt version will generally work but be a red tape nightmare for all who participate rendering it net zero gain for citizens and government, with only the contractors/unions that install it ending up benefitting. I guess the politicians that land the big installation contracts for the unions will benefit also, but overall, govt run anything rarely beats privatization from my past experience.

    bahahahahaha....that is hillarious

  • Get ready for another day of upward movement as the shorts next stable defensive point is in the low teens trying to keep it from getting into the 20's. They needed to break 10.50 yesterday and couldn't even break under 10.60.....only certain management funds are going to justify to their executives to participate today in the full shorting which means its going to rise even further.

  • If they were in control they would have had it at 10.50 by lunch....sounds like some of the shorts have bailed....that can't be good for the remaining shorts....

and i forgot 10. Analyst upgrades .....I'm sure i forgot even more.

  • I'm starting to forget them all....
    1. Reminded Apple is not secure by a long shot
    2. Released several handsets
    3. More handsets being developed.
    4. Ford dropped MS for QNX
    5. Daimler AG (OTCPK:DDAIF) and Airbus (OTCPK:EADSF) were both adopting BlackBerry products.
    6. Chen said he would consider selling BBM as he is working for the shareholder
    7. Chen blasting t-mobile and making them apologize instead of acting like an unresponsive Thor
    8. Chen holding news conferences instead of acting like an unresponsive Thor

Whatsapp with all this good news? oh...sorry...9. WHATSAPP being sold to facebook effectively determining a minimum price for just BBM of....welll, in my calculation a BARE minimum of 12$ a share for just that peice alone, and i go way higher considering the users of BBM have money and make large purchasing decisions....that is an audience i would want to target if i was an advertiser.

High Of 10.90 In For Now

he is dreaming, it couldn't even push down to 10.60 at lunch....this is going to continue to gap...UP

  • ittsmith ittsmith Feb 25, 2014 1:02 PM Flag

Great point....i will make a comment regarding that. Its nice to see that Chen has orchestrated several peices of good news to come out of the BBRY abyss. Thor would have been paid handsomely if it was sold and so he manipulated it down to a firesale price. Chen gets paid well if it goes up and so he is doing the proper job of using P.R. tactics to manipulate it up. It does drive me crazy that the shorting of these days can destroy value in a systemic way thus benefiting those who have enough money to operate at that systemic level , particularly when there is no news good or bad....but i do enjoy when there is an upward surge that even systematic strategies cannot counter. For example, as some of your short co-horts noticed, this did not get driven down below 10.60 by lunch. This bodes poorly for any who doubled down and tried to bring it, which is good news for me as your artificial price lowering will reward me quite well....

TOO MUCH AND MANY GAPS NEED INTRA DAY FILLING

    by evaporatorate Feb 25, 2014 12:20 PM
ittsmith ittsmith Feb 25, 2014 12:48 PM Flag

gap trading is most useful when there is no news and the price change gaps are natural bubbles in the normal market current stabilizing on the fair market value.......and gap trading can be quite lucrative. But gap trading does not work as well when you see huge spikes up due to positive news coming out and instead of that being considered market correction or market movement, you consider it a gap to be filled. And quite frankly, gap trading is HORRIBLE when you have MANY independent news stories that are from different sources about different aspects of the company and they are alllllllllll positive.
Please stop saying GAPs need to be filled.....please pick a different, more sensible reason for why the stock will dip....like martians are coming.....that would be more effective.

ABOUT TO MAKE A BIG DUMP

    by evaporatorate Feb 25, 2014 10:55 AM
ittsmith ittsmith Feb 25, 2014 10:59 AM Flag

of course shorts are going to try and drive it down to 10.50 by lunch....if this stays over 10.60 by lunch they know tommorrow is going to be more of the same....and if it crosses 11 without taking a dump they know tommorrow will NOT be the same simple smack in the face that today was but a total kick in the head....some shorts are bailing, some are doubling down....oooooh its fun to see the pain of a stock reclaiming its normal value ......see you tommorrow at 11.25 regardless of what happens at lunch today.

I believe BBRY is on the way to overtake $11 ...

ittsmith ittsmith Feb 25, 2014 10:55 AM Flag

if we see 11 by 1pm then i think it will go higher than 15% as shorts now know that they will never see 10 again and need to find a good exit strategy to restart in the low teens. I admire their courage to start in the teens when this is clearly already turned around....they have a channel for their phones, they have a strong messaging platform, they have ample cash and backers that will plow in more cash, and they are able to hit the sub 200 price point that apple cannot currently touch which opens up an untouched market in 3rd world
Oh, and they don't have some guy leading them that gets paid if they fail....that probably helps also. Oh, and he has led other companies back from the abyss in stunning fashion...that might help as well.

  • ittsmith ittsmith Feb 25, 2014 10:51 AM Flag

his post actually made me smile knowing that the short position is backed by this type of logic.....I wonder if he will double down his short if it passes 15 figuring there is no way it will maintain value "at more than all of Ford"

ittsmith ittsmith Feb 25, 2014 10:49 AM Flag

isn't this just finally taking out the gaps above? Logic would then indicate it is going MUCH higher when you factor in all the positve news and the slight short exodus as they wait for their new line of defense, i'm guessing they will start in the low teens to try and stall the flow to 25

  • i'm starting to lose track of all the positive news coming in for Blackberry

aren't we just closing the huge gaps left from when it started to run to 20?

  • ittsmith ittsmith Feb 25, 2014 8:48 AM Flag

yikes....this may not pop but actually explode with a headstart of 5% in pre-market. I would laugh if I saw 11 for even a split second today. The positive news is well orchestrated in a steady stream....or perhaps i should say steady tidal wave....apple security leaks, Ford committing to making QNX a true device OS, new device launches, oh...and how could i forget the whatsapp valuation that can be implied for BBM at a bare minimum of....i dunno...its so high....i'm thinking 12$ a share just for the app when you consider the participants are not teens in highschool with part time jobs but executives that make major purchase decisions in both personal and business...
