I have 1.32 with 2661 shares at 16.02. Just now after hours trade 1.38, 200 shares. Yahoo and ET have 1.32.

The last trade of the day was 1.33 and also the low of the day and yet the MM put in a new trade again after the close at 1.32 which will be the open for Tuesday giving it a new low for the day. This happens time and time again. No wonder WidePoint cannot go up when they have to fight not only the shorts but also the MM.

Article last Friday by CNBC (Ryders) about all the new Cyber IPO’s coming. Mimecast, Rapid7, LogRythm are a few of the top ones mentioned. All three are seeking valuations over $1 billion.
Mimecast had revenues last year of $84 Million which is what WidePoint is forecast to do without any Cyber revenue, mostly DHS contracts. If WidePoint would be valued at $1B it would have a share price of $12.30
not $1.40. FireEye (a past IPO) had a loss last year of $444M and has a share price of $42 valued at $6.49B. Global IT Security spending is expected to rise to $77 Billion.
It seems like our WidePoint is very much undervalued in comparison to the rest of the Cyber Security market. When will that change.
For starters, when WidePoint starts to ramp up its contract signing with both the Gov and private sector and actually starts to earn Cyber income. In July DOD expects to start their derived credentialing and if they do, they have to start well ahead of that to notify all their various parts so they can comply. If WidePoint is a major part of that as we all expect, it could be the turning point we are waiting for. WidePoint also needs more analysis coverage. Getting a story out there about all of WidePoint’s potential would be a great help. It seems that this board is the only source of in depth research or info on WidePoint. I also wonder if they would be better off on the Nasdaq.
Sooner or later with all the money that is flowing into Cyber Security, WidePoint’s investors will gets their share.

Revenues: WidePoint’s forecast last CC was for $15 to $18M in revenues for the 4th Quarter. $15.3M would be a new Quarterly record for them. Over $18M would be great. $19.4M would make a record year.
Earnings per share: Flat to a small loss. Most earnings/income I suspect are going to support COD. That should change early this year. Positive EPS would be a big plus.
DHS $600M contract. Have been into the contract for over a year and we should see growing revenues and earnings now and accelerating through this year. Love to hear that.
Last and most important, WidePoint has to prove to Wall Street that they are a major player in the Cyber Security world with their Certificate on a Device and that it will be in demand in both Gov and Private enterprise. The current low share price indicates Investors are waiting for this. Almost half of etf HACK’s Companies have loss’s yet their share prices are substantially higher then WidePoints. I assume because they have convinced Wall Street that is going to change in the near future.
This is a highly competitive field and getting COD installed at device production is a great start for a small Co like WidePoint, however a second just as important aspect is to market COD to the Corporate World. A Gov contract or large Corp contract would be a great start. WidePoint is much more then just COD, however COD is what will get them through the doors in the Corp Security World.
I realize that their hands are tied in what they can release and I believe that the current 1st Q we are now in will be a turning point for the Co.
I am looking forward to WidePoint proving to Wall Street that they are the future, starting now.

Very kind Tweet from Dan T

    by grandslammer222 Mar 14, 2015 4:18 PM

WidePoint has over the last year incorporated the assets of the four main divisions (ORC, iSYS, First Responder, Consulting) under one roof so to speak. The main reason is to allow cross selling of all products across the whole Company. Example: First Responders can use ORC’s security features in their Raptor Program. Soft Ex could use iSYS management in their Corp presentations. If you ck their Web Site you will fine ORC’s solutions available under Gov, Private Enterprise and Local and State.
My guess is Dan T was not happy with this arrangement being an innovator and moved on to a strictly technology position where he is not concerned with profitability .

Just watch a Time Warner Commercial on TV about IAB Certified. Looked very familiar. Cked the WidePoint Certificate on a Device video they have on their Website and the first part of each Video or Commercial are the same. Exactly the same man and women, same attire and same setting. Is this a coincidence or is there some connection here. Could be the same production Co. using like scenes. A WidePoint connection with IAB Certified, or do we have a Time Warner connection . I like the Time Warner connection as it would fit in with the third TeleCom Company we are all waiting for. Just a lot of speculation here but it is interesting that both would start their video’s/commercial identical. Maybe we will find out something Monday.

They most likely do not have a replacement for him yet and wanted to wait until then to make any announcement. Pretty standard procedure in the Corp. world today.

    One thought or possibility.
Did Dan T develop the Certificate on a Chip or device? Is it possible that it was designed by someone else in ORC and WidePoint wants them to take the lead and develop it farther. I have to agree with someone here that ORC never became the profit generator that was expected, however Dan T put WidePoint on the map with the Federal Gov. giving it credibility and leaving it in a very strong position to grow in the future.
Now it is up to those who follow to grow ORC and maximize the COD solutions. Personally I think these are big shoes to fill but with Dan T still on board as a consultant it will be much easier.

    Jim just e-mailed back.

"Mr. Turissini has resigned for personal reasons. We do not comment on employment issues. He is continuing under a consultive arrangement and will be available".

"Mr. Turissini has been a valuable asset of the Company, the team, and infrastructure that he has help build. We believe the team is well suited to carry on at this point and with all things change provides new opportunities as we continue to promote, expand and evolve the ranks of our management team. We continue to be excited with our opportunities that we are working on and look forward to rewarding times ahead."

I have an e-mail into WidePoint (Jim) sent this AM. I do not expect an instant reply as they are busy managers.
For all we know they could be in Barcelona at the MWC2015.
Hopefully we can get this cleared up sometime today.

Dan Turissini is still listed as being on the AFCEA Homeland Security Conference March 11 for WidePoint.
You may be right but I find it hard to trust someone with a new id, as they usually have a personal agenda.
Also why would he tell you when the news is private as the Company has not put out a news release on it.
He would open himself up to releasing insider information before the public is informed.
If we have no information from the Company in the AM, I will E-Mail Jim so we can put this to rest one way or another. Jim has always been really good about answering E-Mails.

You have to be one sick person to keep posting after all the negative comments people have said to you. Changing your id does not work as the yahoo id feature will work on that one too. If you would post all your negative and false comments once in a while would not be so bad but to continually post constantly and tie up this intelligent board with all your stupidity, one has to wonder about your mental being and you should to.

Most of this type of trading are traders trying to effect the opening price the next day.
The 1.73 wants a high price at open and the 1.64 was most likely a nervous short trying to keep the price down.
What could be interesting is Samsung unveils it Galaxy S6 today at the MWC2015.
Widepoint never release their third major Telecom Partner and speculation is that it is Samsung.
To speculate a little more, we might find out today.

Take a look at AFCEA Strategic Partners. All large US Federal Contractors.
One has to wonder how our little ORC/WidePoint got there. Must be doing something right.
    ( afcea strategicpartners )
Also ck out the bio of Dan Turissini. After reading up on Dan’s background and experience, one can understand how ORC got there and why they will be leaders in identity management with their COD solutions in the future. ( Dan Turissini LinkedIn )
