what's wrong with riding a pump for a day or two and bailing before the dump can be an exiting short term ride (kind of like a poker game when you're pegged as the chump and bail with somebodies cash)
will there be anything left after the creditors run this mess through the courts, or will the courts force people to accept a pennies on the dollar settlement to preserve the company
standard stuff, if somebody doesn't like something they claim that it's illegal or unconstitutional, without reading the law or the constition
American eagle had what looked like a great lease hold in Canada. turned out to be a bust I think a little exploration co. named passport energy had their fingers in the pie shortly after that too
I bought into this co back when it was called Eternal Energy I held approx 85000 shares some at 2 cents. I'm out now but considering jumping back in mainly because these people seem to do a great job of managing through a crises. It's a gamble but that's what makes it interesting
why wait for it to recover, there are plenty of other companies to buy into that will make us money before this train wreck gets put back on the rails. I've learned my lesson
it's all about earnings, if the numbers are good in mid Nov. price goes up if earnings are low price goes down. Don't let those charts bury you. I think the earnings will be good. This company provides product and services that cut production and delivery costs. In a declining oil price what better business could this company be in? Also, these people have been doing this for a long time, they know what they are doing!!!
more cash is a very good thing, trying to finance growth through retained earnings is a very difficult and often foolish plan of attack. The company now has some wiggle room for investing in new projects.
This trd seems to be smelling a little less odoriferous now volume up and share price up for a couple of days now. If this holds up for a few more days we may be able to call it an upward trend.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I also have called and have had the same results. I don't think a dividend would help, it would just reduce the value of the company by the amount that was paid out. I feel improved pr is the way to go
reports usually hit around 6 weeks after end of quarter. I do own some of this tock (about 20k shares) so I'm more than a little interested in any news that comes around, and there's not enough lately. The company does seem to be running in the black for the first time in years. I'm anticipating a good first half report. In years past a good report would send this stock flying high fast. If the reports are good I'm grabbing another 10k quickly. good luck go long
Sprague I called the company today and am anxiously awaiting a callback (today?). I requested info on new wells and a production update. If I get a reply containing any relevant info I will post
how long is this blood letting going to last? this company has lost 50% of its value since the high last year. not a word from the company and they don't return phone calls. something has got to change there's no reason for this
it doesn't take much to force a small company like this down. When they've forced it down as far as they
can they may start buying it back with a vengeance and make a ton od money I hope
this ride up isn't nearly over, once this company starts to move it acts as though it's being carried by momentum. I've seen this happen several times before in the many years I've been following this company. The only problem is, is that the momentum goes both ways.
