FYI - I have a cash account (an IRA). My understanding is that brokers are not allowed to lend your shares from a cash account. But you are right about putting in a sell limit order if you are long in a margin account. And having a sell limit order is not entirely a bad idea no matter what. The first penny stock I owned I had 100000 shares at about .06 per share. It would often jump to .09 if someone was buying and drop back to .03 if someone was selling. I saw this go one for about 18 months and decided this was a waste of time, that no one was ever going to recognize this company or stock. One day about 3 weeks after I sold it (and that pushed the price down to .02), it jumped to $30.00 where it stayed for about a day before falling (typical) back to about $3.00 within days (a distorted rumor or leak of a buyout). It had some weird name like equitex and had to do with bicycle parts (I only remember this vaguely). I didn't notice this happened until after it dropped back to $3.00. But if I had had a little more patience and faith in my own choice, and had had a literally absurd sell order in there even at $10.00 (lots of ifs here ..but related to your suggestion) much less $30.00, my $6000 investment would have been worth $1,000,000!!!!! But somehow I have never mastered the art of timing (or seeing the future). Maybe a crazy limit order is not so crazy. We can always hope for a flash rally!
You gave me a good idea, to put an order in to buy 1 million shares at .01. You never know, after that if it then goes to 3 or 4 dollars I could retire. With the shares I would only be able to partly retire.
No you idiot, he's not referring to the ones that are not anti-semitic but the ones that are, for example to name two, toothyjew and heebjoo. These names are anti semitic. Some of these trolls are real potty mouthed pervs, with serious deficits in regard to character. You can't take any of them seriously. If they are ever right, it only due to luck. They don't have the capacity to ever really know what they are doing;.
I agree with ck - and am hopeful - also I just noticed the message board is tied to the symbol in Yahoo finally. Now I don't have to maintain a separate link!!
FYI - In 2012 and 2013 the annual report was published on April 4th in the OTC filings, so that is when I expect it just using that as a reference.
We just zipped past their price target too. Up 5%! only a compulsive one note debbie downer would be able to complain about this. We could be heading into the 40s before Spring arrives. That's OK with me. Of course shorty bashers will be crawling out of the woodwork like cockroaches smelling a piece of fish. Then watch it go to 50 and exterminate their type-3 accounts hahahahahaha.
You say 'no doubt' but you are really ignorant just like everybody else, as to whether it will or not.
Hey Troll boy with a bug upizazz and who won't go away, OLED is green. Does that disturb you? Are you really upset?
Anyone hear the CC? Joined the webcast at work and I had to keep the speakers down so basically I couldn't hear what was being said, and I just viewed the slides as they were discussed. Anything new come up? such as in side remarks or in the QA session? I was interrupted so I could not pay attention to the last 1/3 of the call. Looks like 655000 equivalent ounces for a lifetime of 20 years. If costs are roughly 500 per ounce to operate and they sell the concentrate at a discount, what do we get ? $500 and ounce at current prices? That would net 300million a year from operations? Those are my guesses. Anyone else try to do calculations? But it would not take long to pay down debt at that rate. That alone could bring us a nice cash flow but more lucrative to PLG will be the mines in the new extension they are now exploring which the own 87% and we will be hearing more about that in the coming weeks.
I went to the cc link and it shows the cc is at 10:30 EST. Also toward the end of that lenghty release of information we saw this morning it says they wll be releasing information in the coming weeks on t he Waterberg Extension in which they own an 87% interest. So there may be even more good news coming shortly.
Those reports are probably going to be adjusted absed on the new information and conference call.. i expect upgrades and new price targets will result. Analysts tend to go only on facts presented by management. This is new and positive information/data.
This supports what I believed all along that Waterberg is going to be a major producer. There project is expensive and will require more funding, which will mean more borrowing and possibly dilution however worth the cost. There is still time risk not to mention ofthere risks which they delineate, since the projects are not slated to complete until 2018. I'd like to know for how many years they will be able to produce at 655,000 ounces a year. I also have a feeling this new contribution to the supply of precious metals will have a negative impact on precious metals prices. I will buy back in if the price stays below 1.30. I sold my shares not long ago because every time it went up it came all the way back down so the last couple times I took my profits out before they became unrealized losses. I guess that was tactical and not strategic. I just bought them back slightly above where I sold them.
I think we are subject to an electronic market and to the forces of supply and demand. All it takes is someone trying to buy or sell a large amount of shares with a limit way outseide the best bid and ask. If any news is leaking it is probably good. I have not been wiating as long as you, so maybe I am not as impatient too. Their communications have been formal and quite informative as well though few and far between. I get the feeling they are being very careful and want to maintain their proprietary integrity with their new customers. Other companies I have held shares in also did this and it can be frustrating when you want to know everything. It can also be frustrating to management not to be able to disclose good news because its customer wants to keep it quiet for its own competitive reasons.
At the end of the 10-Q: "We have developed and are continuing to modify an operating plan intended to eventually achieve sustainable profitability, positive cash flow from operations, and an adequate level of financial liquidity. Key components of this plan include consistent revenue growth and the cash to be derived from such growth, as well as the expansion of our strategic alliances with other biotechnology and diagnostic companies, securing diagnostic-related government contracts and grants, improving operating efficiencies to reduce our cost of sales as a percentage of sales, thereby improving gross margins, and lowering our overall operating expenses. If our sales were to decline, are flat, or achieve very slow growth, we would undoubtedly incur operating losses and a decreasing level of liquidity for that period of time. In view of this, and in order to further improve our liquidity and operating results, we entered into the ELITech collaboration and investment.
I liked the continued growth in revs, and forward looking statemetns concerning cost conatinment and an expected jump in EBITDA in 2014 despite the lack of a guarantee. At least they are saying the right thing in my book.
IDC reports have come out in April in the past. It would be great if they were allowed to disclose all significant events at that point.
especially if OLED shoots to 40 overnight, and then continues to zig zag up towards 50 which is one of the analysts' 12 month target prices. Ignore torlls - they ignore you and they thrive on denial and delusion.
there are a bunch of message board handles that all belong to the same, possibly multi-personality narcistic sadistic message board troll. Just ignore them (him). FYI - this survey was just published on CNN online about trolls : "
An online survey by a group of Canadian researchers suggests that Internet trolls are more likely than others to show signs of sadism, psychopathy and "Machiavellianism": a disregard for morality and tendency to manipulate or exploit others.
"It was sadism, however, that had the most robust associations with trolling of any of the personality measures," says an article by psychologists from the University of Manitoba, University of Winnipeg and University of British Columbia. "In fact, the associations between sadism and ... scores were so strong that it might be said that online trolls are prototypical everyday sadists."
Sadism is a tendency to take pleasure in other people's pain or discomfort."
Just realize there will always be common trolls and ignore them.
