  • Next they will announce they're LBO'ing the company. Let's see, a $12 book value and $300 million surplus above the $450 million in dividend savings. Blackrock lbo's them for $8 per share and guarantees the loans - and walks away with $750 million per year as they wait for oil to o back up in six months to $70. Then they pocket $1.25 billion per year.

It's run up because they calculate net present value by discounting estimated future earnings, time to earnings and risk. Time to market is now short, risk of non-approval is negligible and the size of the market is growing at 10% to 13% annually. The only two pieces missing is actual approval, duration of patient use and exact pricing per patient.

OPEC has indicated that demand is well above their original estimates. Saudi Arabia said the other day they expect to cut output by 2 to 3 hundred thousand bbls per day starting in September. They are also getting more cozy with Russia now as they don't trust this administration anymore. They may be working their own deal to get a Russian engineered nuclear power plant or two. Because of the sanctions, Russia also cannot get new oilfield technology or replacement parts, so their fields are starting to top out. My take is that if we see oil rise back up to $60 by October they may continue the dividend. If the Russians cut a deal with SA it might be a quid pro quo - SA allows oil prices to rise, gets a couple of nuclear power plants in return and agrres to quit supporting Syria and Iran.

And here we go yet again - daily short interest volume today was 58.9%. I thought they would let loose of the share price today and let it run but that clearly didn't happen. They continue to pin the price down through shorting.

Well, $450 million saved by distribution suspension. apparently around $265 million surplus cash annually, increases in production and continued decreases in operating costs. Let's say $700 to $750 million annually in debt reduction which, in turn, reduce debt service by around $75 to $80 million annually. The question is what happens if oil goes back up to $70 by year end. Saudi Arabia is bleeding cash now and just announced they were decreasing production at the end of August by 200,000 to 300,000 bbls.

And Saudi Arabia just stated they were going to cut production by around 200,000 to 300,000 bbls at the end of summer.

The EU will have 35,000 NTM afflicted patients by the end of 2016 and 39,000 by the end of 2017. They will also have around 25,000 CF patients. and tens of thousands of MAC patients. Even if they capture only 50% of these patient populations by the end of 2017 they will have a revenue forward annual run rate of approximately $1.5 billion. The average biotech multiple for high growth biotech companies is around 12x - which equates to a forward market cap in 2018 of $18 billion - or around $285 per share. Discounted down to now and risk adjusted I expect when approved the share price will move up to $100 by mid-2016. If we toss in the US, Japan and Iplex -at least 3x as high by 2018. What's someone willing to pay for that?

And, of course, this statement was also made " Simply put, short selling creates downward pressure on the share price by increasing inventory". How does Terry manage to get himself dressed in the morning? What an liar.

Take it up with the people who know moron. "Once the stocks are floating around they can be lent to short sellers. If enough short selling comes to the market all at once, the stock price can be driven down." What a thought - if you sell a bunch of shares you overwhelm the buying and drive the price down - like last Friday with short sales volume at 72.5%. Not selling but shorting and voila, the share price dropped. Tough to argue with basic math but the moron doesn't know eithet math or grammar so not surprised.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Per our rocket scientist Terry short selling actually supports the share price and does not drive it down. "The short interest is NOT "keeping down the share price ! " - they are supporting it." Sure.

Per Wikipedia, a great definition of Terry and his now 38 fake Ids. "Stock Bashing: "This scheme is usually orchestrated by online message board posters (a.k.a. "Bashers") who make up false and/or misleading information about the target company in an attempt to get shares for a cheaper price. This activity, in most cases, is conducted by posting libelous posts on multiple public forums.

Daily short sales volume was 72.5%. Someone is working overtime to keep a lid on the share price. If they get their approvals in September the lid blows off.

Look at the one year chart. The IBB gets driven down to the EMA/Lower Bolinger Band in the first month of each quarter and then pushes back up to the upper Bollinger Band throughout the rest of the quarter when results actually come in - as the EMA continues to rise. Traders doing trader games every quarter like clockwork..
