I'd like to see it too geo, BUT "hopefully has" would be like AT saying "good news, I THINK we completed........" It just can't be said. It will be. It'll come.
Granted, some arrived here at a higher price and are disappointed in this correction. But the WHOLE market stumbled, not just MVIS. Those of us who've been around a while should have expected something like this to happen after a great run, but again, the WHOLE market stumbled.
Do you have any other holdings that shot down like this? I do. Did the CEO of any of the others come out with some garbage nonsense about hold the fort, don't sell a share etc etc, everything's good, solid? What the heck do you expect from management? What could they say that the SEC wouldn't find questionable? What if they said it at $3.65 a share and you bought a ton more because AT said all's well? What would youb call him then? You think they can get away with "hang in there guys, we're solid, we're going to fly... all's great"? What has changed, besides something we may not be entitled to know because of agreements? You think management should be cheerleaders every time the market, or the stock takes a hit?
Like it or not this is still a speculative stock to most buyers, including me. 90% of what's posted here is speculation. Glean through it carefully and you'll find the relevant 10%, the 10% that keeps me here. Great product. Sony. Celluon. POTENTIAL.
BTW, where are some of the high rollers today? They're there to tell you about the ten or fifteen grand they made on the way up in a day. Where are they today?
Sorry if some don't like my words, but as ever in the end "money talks, and" you know the rest. You either believe in this company or you don't
You're in or out. Your decision. Nobody else's. Take it or leave it. Period.
Good wishes to investors. Hope we see the future unfold to our expectations.
It's my opinion the market being down 180 points is giving you an opportunity. Don't think 3-5, 0r even 100 shares is too meager. Invest what is comfortable for you. Don't be intimidated thinking you're out of this league. In some cases what seem to be huge holders may have moved the decimal point unintentionally of course!. If you're young enough, by the time you're my age you might be able to buy and sell me lol. But by that time, well, anyway, that's my opinion.
Hi VOR. Good for Mom. Way back when I had a full open. Think what MVIS can do to advance heart repair even farther then Mom's. Never do the back surgery again. Like your friend, the pain never goes away. It's just a matter of how bad. Only redeeming aspect is it's not life threatening.
On a brighter note, the Ides of March, which will add another digit to my age, will soon be upon us. I expect a particular present by the end of the week. A real good CC would be sufficient. It'd be great to know all the longs would be celebrating that same day.
Wish Mom good health from a stranger, and full understanding to your friend. If nothing else he and I will always be worth a few bucks in titanium! I just have to be careful my wife doesn't try to cash it in prematurely.
BW2U and all here who've waited so long. It's coming, and we sure are due.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Still, that must be where I heard of MVIS. I have a problem with certain anesthetics and a lot is blurry. At one point they were supposed to keep 24/7 on me at a physical rehab center after a surgery. I overheard the nurses. plotting my murder, grabbed my cane, blew out a window and shimmied down two stories to the ground. I had about six of them at bay till the cops arrived. Fortunately the cops understood.
Anyway, you bear witness to the truth. I still have .75 or so of a share to remind me of that run, so here's hoping we meet on another board some day and share our story again, then about MVIS. Happy for you. Happy for all the longs here. If anyone here regrets only affording 500 shares I say don't. Some day that 500 will be a helluva lot more, and they can tell their story.
Great to hear from you. Really great.
Back in '02 I had a triple bypass and a valve replaced, a prelude to my back fusion. That I wouldn't want to repeat ever. I was delirious for the longest time from the dual surgeries. Literally unknowingly I started buying shares in a company. Oddly the price range was the same as MVIS. Even the bashers predicted the same bk, corrupt management. The shorts were relentless. $1.40s , 2's, 3-4's, some in the 5's. I had bought thousands of shares when I realized how much I had invested.
In '06 I started selling in the teens and twenties till I had no more. No bk, no hardships, the company came through. Their product, glass, was a big success Strange when I got here I found MVIS had done dealings with GLW (Corning). Had to be a sign I figured.
Yes, I think we'll do very nicely here. VERY nicely. Better then I did with GLW in fact, much better.
I figure 20,000 shares is much more then enough.
Best wishes to longs. Shorts are only trying to make a buck, but I feel shorting corrupted the market. Nothing personal, but Fk them.
I must be mellowing with age:) Maybe observing instead of head-butting all day has bettered my perspective. Either that or senility isn't as bad as represented!
Who did you say you were again?:)
There are brilliant minds behind charting. Balancing charts and fundamentals is done by the wisest investors. Only a fool would diminish their value. Only an idiot would make a comment like yours without provocation. So the charts and fundamentals point to you being both a fool and an idiot.
Hope you're not on an airplane!!!!
Anyway, you and Jak and Scoot etal dragged me into a post after a long hiatus.
The same clowns on this board that scoff and belittle tech are the same that claim to make kabillions trading the stock. Go figure. I can't, beside concluding they're mostly bs. I believe in both tech and fundamentals, not exclusive of each other. Who convinced me was John Bollinger back in his FNN days. The man was (and is of course) genius.
Yes it is nice to see techies here. Hopefully you'll open another door for some good people here looking for a better future. All they have to understand is nothing is infallible 100% of the time, particularly high risk stocks such as this. But if they use all the tools in the box the end game will pay, and tech is a power-tool.
Good thing you didn't include microdouble and yourself as quiz answers. Placing 3rd and 4th would have been the ultimate humiliation. You two(?) have been referring to posters here as morons, #$%$, stupid, etc while suffering from obsessive-compulsive idiocy. Grow up and knock the bullsheet off, unless you enjoy the role of jerks . No ones' beliefs here have infringed one iota on your life style, so get your heads out of your #$%$, and the whole argument will blow away. Of course, if you live an existence comparable to a cyst on a ducks' testicle, don't let me get in the way of your greatest social achievement. It's your call. No, gentlemanjerk is off the table as a title. That eliminates having it all, eh?
