Going back to 2008,2009,2010,2011,2012,2013,2014 My pep dividend was always posted to my saving account the available day after the new year the 2015 was posted on jan 7. If you had or check mailed to you or went to a broker it could have been delayed by them.Iworked in the industry in stock transfer in the sixties and seventies.I always have certificates held by my self and all dividends paid to a saving account and maintain a hard copy when the dividendd are received. If a problem within two weeks i'm in contact with the paying agent.
Peltz is acting like KKR, they took over Safeway reorganized it took their fees and now selling the entire company.Ran it into the ground.
I hold my shares and I understand that the shares are held in book entry at the transfer agent ( Well Fargo) generally the company will allow the issuance of a cerificate if requested by the sharehodler. If your shares are held by a nominee ( Bank or Broker) those shared are sent to the nominee and they post them to the individual accounts.
They are still in the Dow Index they will be listed no the NASDAQ rather then the New York board. The first exchange was the New York however a company had to meet requirements to belong as a listing. then th American exchange began Midwest Stock exchange and other regional boards. If you trading in the sixties you will remenber those stocks which were to small to go on an exchange was listed on Pink sheets to see which brokers were making a market. By the seventies more shares were traded between brokes ( commisions were less) thus was NASDAQ was born.
On August 14th the board of KFT okay the spin off also they declared a $.29 a sh dividend for KFT with a record date of September 19th,payable Oct 15. Since I started in stock transfer in 1964 the company will proablilty use the same record date for the spin off. Also I heard or read it will be a 1 for 3 spin off.The share will be book entry if you hold the certificate as I do they normally allow you to request one. Since the price of KFT was around $41. the old shares of KFT should be in the neighbor of $31. and the new Co should be around $12. I hope this has been helpful now lets see how close I come to the Oct 1st quotes
Reading this message board i see where shareholders feel Pepsico should split.
I would favor a 20% stock dividend you would increase the outstanding by only 312m shares you treat the dividend by lowing your cost base plus drop for future investors.
I have state the difference between a split and a spin off may times. I can see how these brokers are making money on people who don;t know the difference from investing and playing the market.
Seeing as the move to the NASDAQ June 26 We should shortly receive our ahares in the new company.I beleive when they declared the dividend it will be for the Kft shares pre spin off.
Let it go to $120. then split 2/1.
By the way after a stock splits the dividend splits also, for those of you who haven't taken
any couses in finance.
The Northern is a trust company not a bank if you go back to the orginal incorporation the Smiths choose Trust business over banking. If you ever go for a mortgage you must proof every dollar of income and they don't make loans if your debt ratios or income ratios are within thier standard.
TNT had put a poison pill in place back in 1990 in case any bank got ideas of take over ,also Northern Trust is organized as a Trust company not a bank.
Pepsi has record dates of Mar 3,Jun 2 and Sept 1 of this year.
If your 401 k is holding as of the record date you will and are entitled to the dividend payable in 30 days ( normal )
If you sell the shares after record you are still entitled only if you are not the holder on record would you not be receive said dividend. If these shares are in a 401 k I don't think you would be trading them and would be holding them for their income.
The Northern Trust Company is incorporated in Illinois
therefore they can not branch bank.
The offices they are closing ,Park Ridge is the fact they lease the office space and do not own the building. The
