Unbelievable! I couldn't even open the damn envelope to vote via phone. I gave up and did the same and trashed it. First time in years I have not cast a proxy ballot
Makes me start to wonder if these folks know how to invest my equity portion in this company.
insiders getting shares at -0- cost and dumping them onto the market place.
I've finally come to realize we are competing against them. No more purchases here for me until that changes.
Yahoo shows shorts at less than 4%. maybe now that the weight of the KKR overhang has passed we can see a more realistic share price. lot of consolidation in pharma, especially with interest rates so cheap. I bet we see more M&A when Big B starts pushing up rates one way or another.
volume avg so far today.
3x avg volume today. Someone liked what they heard. Even the FED could not keep it down.
amen!
yea I had a thot once.
other than that I can't help you. but an offer may be in the wind.
have you noticed? what is happening to AMOT share price?
kinda goes with earnings. Amazing how that works.
and keep going!
huh?
no wonder this dam thing can't get over $60!
keep the cash off the balance sheet; give more shares to current holders. Makes good sense to ward off any takeover attempt!
nice that yahoo now lets me post again. don't know what the problem was before.
anyway I am surprised that they would move hdqtrs! right around the "coroner", huh?! I don't see how they can afford to buy anyone of significance to improve their rev/earnings. I thought with the inventory write-offs a while back, some facility consolidation they were dressing up amot for a sale.
I've invested for more years than I want to admit. And I've championed paying a divd. But looking back I cant recall a single stinking case that it helped the share price much at all. APPL and AMOT being recent examples. Its as if the big money gets their wish and moves on after a slight bump up in the share price.
the Japanese consumers are now using RMCF bars as a medium of exchange.
good advise. but per WSJ report there is a microscopic increase.
find it hard to believe sbsi is still independent. bet they are being talked TO by BBt, CFR etc
in today's HFT market who knows why for certain. Seems like with HFTs controlling 70%+ of the market activity they don't care re fundamentals...just the price action. Until the bubble pops or poops take your pick.
Not saying this is a bubble here but then I'm not a HFT so I wouldn't recognize one.
Dude..all that coulda been said the last few years! any earnings will go to debt holders. once debt is paid down they will sell the company for chump change to ITT. As accurate as your statement....
yea when you sell more shares. cash flow is still a negative number.
but to keep my interest they better have!
I doubt any divd increase. or they should not anyway. they are still running negative cash flow. they need someone to better "work" their balance sheet, ie cash mgmnt.
further, I thought amot had a share repurchase program. My memory my be faulty on that but my point is they have even more shares outstanding.
