Interesting that RepubliCONs this election cycle aren't acting like their typical subservient Koch sucker selves. Nope, this year they decided to be subservient Trump-dumpsters, instead.
Hell, the RNC should REQUIRE that each attendee carry a loaded working firearm as a condition of admission. Now THAT would be some must-see TV! :D
Lol, the whole 3 Mcjobs = 1 worthwhile job thang started under BOOSH, as well! I remember the Bush town hall event where the woman stood up to ask a question about jobs, and mentioned that she had to work 3 jobs just to survive. But Bush missed the thrust of her question entirely (as with most questions), saying how great and "typically American" that was, saying she deserved kudos for being such a go-getter. LMAO
"Ya load sixteen tons and whaddaya get?
Another day older and deeper in debt.
St. Peter don't ya call me cuz I can't go,
I sold my soul to the company store." - T. E. Ford
And BTW: Holy fudge! Have you ever compared photos of Mr. Haney and Ted Cruz? The only difference there is the straw hat. Lolololol. :P
Carnival barker Trump will never ever be POTUS (except perhaps in your wet dreams).
Trump is proof positive that you can't purchase class, no matter HOW rich you become (or claim to be). He may (?) dress better than Mr. Haney (cf Green Acres), but that's about it.
Well, you want them home, don't you? So how would you propose to handle it? Pack them into cattle cars? Maybe a forced death march back through the southwest? Or maybe just liquefy them and PUMP them back home through existing pipelines?
I ask, with the utmost respect possible, whether you have ever considered, perhaps, just shutting your ignorant pie hole? :)
Yes, the argument (the one I've heard before, anyway) is: (1) we know that virtual reality is a logical possibility, (2) while still in its infancy on "Earth," we can imagine a civilization vastly superior to our own perfecting a type of multi-media/multi-sensation VR to a much deeper and more extensive level, (3) given billions of years and a vast number of potential cradles for intelligent races to develop, many will achieve and surpass our own current level of technology. Therefore, (4) the number of highly detailed virtual "universes" ever created is likely much larger than the number of "actual" (i.e. naturally-occurring) universes grounding our existence (and grounding as well the existence of any created universes, assuming arguendo our own). Therefore, (5) we are much more likely to ALSO live in one of the former "created" VR universes than merely in the "natural" one on which our (and its) existence is grounded. (And note that there is little that would require "physical" laws, etc., in such a subordinate "universe" to parallel the natural one.)
This is of course (like all philosophical arguments) subject to compelling counterarguments, but is still quite interesting as a hypothesis. And yes, as with most things, cannabis makes it more fascinating still.
