This will pop at some point and might not get the 19.66 that you are waiting for.Big blocks are being bought and sold but the bid keeps showing 5 and 6,000 share blocks that eventually fill.
I do not understand the short position either. 12% carry cost and if on margin add that as well. After the article written at alpha and the acquisition by the GP we still lag at a 12% yield. Maybe it is the shorts that have kept us from getting back to 23 or 24 with an 8-9% yield.
This is distributing 57 cents per quarter. Why would anyone sell this short and pay 12% to carry it and if on margin another 5%. This could be at $25 and no one would question it.
If the stock moves up after the earnings report they will be out distributions and points. That would be great. Shorts are betting that they can make 2.36 plus carrying costs.I am not sure what they are thinking as distributions rise.
APL has to be above .70 in order for the 1cent for APL equals 2 cents for ATLS. Both ARP and APL increased by a penny per quarter and ATLS increased by 3 cents. We are up over $1 in after hour trading. We will see 50 by years end for sure.
The stock was trading strongly all day but dropped at the end of the day. Either there is anticipation of an increase or someone knows something. I hope that they hedged a lot of production when NG pricing was much higher. We will find out shortly .
There were a lot of big blocks bought today. Next month we will hear of coverage and distribution. Prices were strong and there were no work stoppages as we saw in the previous quarter. After hours we are up 10 cents, and it was strong all day until the close.Tomorrow should be fun!
It doesn't mean anything. It could be 200 shares with no bid. They have been trading about 800,000 shares daily and I have a feeling someone is accumulating shares for an increase in distribution soon.
There still hasn't been an announcement that this deal has closed which is part of the reason our stock price hasn't changed much. The last deal closed within a day and was oversubscribed.
They only get incentive rights when the distributions are above .60 or .20/month. As more shares are created and production lags they are not getting to accretive distributions so quickly. This is why ATLS is down so much. It will go up when ARP is above .20 distribution and APL is above .70. They split between .60 and .70 distribution with APL.
