If ARP doesn't announce anything in the next 2 days we should be OK. APL will likely increase by 1 cent just to keep increasing the distribution.
ATLS is the big loser in this, as their distributions are dependent on APL and ARP which both will not contribute the extra share of DCF. If both had been on track then ATLS would have been the big winner
ATLS can still make an announcement that they will be below guidance. This could trade at a 4% DCF as well. There is nothing written in stone about 3.5%.
January contract at 3.95 and over $4 going out. If they even hit their lower 2.40 estimate for DCF going forward we should be above $25. If NG prices firm that last purchase for coal bed methane might actually look good.
There was a trade of 301k shares and schwab, td, and yahoo have the close at 22.50. Even if it is option related that should wake up the 1.7 million short share owners. It should be interesting on Monday morning at the open.
They forecasted .65 and .68 for ARP. Apl was going to .68-.70 in the forecast. Instead we will get .56 then .58 with ARP and .63 or .64 for APL. Both guided lower for the next 2 distributions.
Baird is behind on the news. Reactive not proactive. Over 1 million shares today, and we will eventually be up to the 70-75 cents distribution in 2-3 quarters.
We may see stock appreciation as LINE is above 32 and now paying below 10% even though they were the source of an inquiry. ARP doesn't have any issue and if coverage is good we could be above 22 in no time.
It was not a good quarter as the ratio of DCF to distributions was just above 1X and a bigger loss per share than predicted. It is growing pains for now.
One could argue for a 9.25% yield which is the rate they borrowed at. .Linn was up over $3 today. Waiting for ARP to follow their lead. We have very little volume though.
We are below the 11% yield now even with the whole LINN situation which now has a cutoff date and seems to be resolving. Before the equity offering we were at 23-25 when the DCFi was .44/ quarter. There is no reason for us not to be there by next quarter. I wouldn't be surprised to see a $2 increase when the LINN situation is behind us and the sector responds, which will be before the next distribution date.
The good news is that it should take the same 50,000 shares to raise it a dollar as well. What the TEAK acquisition did was push off the raise in DCF 2 quarters. We should be at .70 per quarter in the next 2 quarters
I agree Liz, but the deal should be done at the end of September and just because of that news LINN is up over $4. More is on the way for them and the sector if all goes through with the Berry deal
Until today volume had picked up and I thought that maybe someone was accumulating shares but that theory was debunked with todays volume. NG prices are rising ever so slowly!
