Wall Street houses the biggest gang of thieves in the country. The markets are completely rigged against the public.
These analysts spreading negatives on HPQ without mentioning the fact that the price of the stock has already discounted the worse likely negatives by a mile are either very naive or very dishonest - take your choice. At the same time many of these analysts are recommending stocks selling at P:/E ratios of 50 or more that may never make a profit in the life of their business. HPQ will continue to make great profits or the company will be sold in a few years at almost twice its present price - watch and observe. In the interim, if you please, continue to sell me your shares at lower and lower prices. Good luck to all.
I don't know what price IBM will hit in two years, but in my opinion IBM is the top tech company in the world. No other company can match the technology owned by IBM. This market is run by Wall Street and the banks and it is difficult for most of us to know what their next game is. My advice is to buy and hold for a LONG TIME.
"SOLIGORSK, BELARUS—In the massive Soligorsk mine, workers 2,000 feet below ground are drilling at seams of pinkish rock and rattling a $20 billion commodity market."
All comments appreciated.
I think patience is necessary here. The big manipulators are the only ones making money at this time. I think we will see some very nice profits in a year or two.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
If it does, it wont stay there very long. It will be bought out in two years at a much higher price by any of a half dozen different companies.
I like the stock, but Zacks knows nothing - they changed their rating from HOLD to BUY yesterday and now apparently to STRONG BUY. Do you own research.
It won't happen in less than two years. Look for a buyout in about three years and it will be closer to $25 per share.
You may be right; however, you may not make any money until the "old man" dies - and then you can never be certain. I reference Disney as an example. I sold Disney the day Walt died - two days later it took off and has never stopped since then. Good luck to you in any case.
I don't agree with cosmichemorrhold; however, if I were you, I would not accuse anyone of crawling out from under a rock - as you apparently live under one. As for HZNP, in the long term, they will do fine. The near term is unpredictable - as I indicated previously.
