articles on DNDN today when ops is up nicely?
Looks Citi presumes that closing of the Chennai factory is a positive for Nokia. I would concur.
If so many key top execs are leaving there must be a reason. That is for sure. Mainly two main possibilities are:
1. They know that something bad is going to happen. In this case, the company would have to come public as this is material info. They have not and and it has been a while now the departures have been made public.
2. They left because of BO that will be announced soon. Taken the rumors since last November, this should be the most logical explanation.
Xtandi: 2.2 months OS, price: 125 k
Provenge: 4.4 months OS, price 93 k
I have two questions:
1. Why there seems to be a perception that Xtandi is both better and cheaper than Provenge?
2. Why it would not be easy to market Provenge over Xtandi?
Xtandi survival is 2.2 months. It costs more than Provenge too, around 129 k dollars. Provenge is 93k.
compared to last week. I would not recommend it though…..
New immunotherapies based on Provenge will have smooth regulatory path, thanks to Dendreon. I have no doubt in my mind immunotherapies will be huge in the near future.
Yes, the 54 mill short are not the sharpest tools in the shed. Same category as those who bought puts with those strikes.
Under 2 dollar strike price there are around 35 k open interest. Somebody is betting on a negative reactions to the expected way to deal with the debt. But wait, somebody sold those put options…...
Espoo, Finland – December 16, 2013
Chunghwa Telecom, the largest operator in Taiwan with over 10 million mobile subscribers, has chosen Nokia Solutions and Networks as a supplier to its 4G LTE network, targeting a fast and smooth roll-out in 2014. In addition, the operator extended its existing contract with NSN as sole supplier of its island-wide 3G HSPA+ network to further increase the network capacity.
Court decision was a huge relief because asset freeze was blocking MSFT deal in India. That would have caused serious financial problems for Nokia. Yes, they need to deposit that 367 million on a escrow-account. Account is interest-bearing, naturally. That case may take 10 years or more. Good statistics show that Indian tax authorities lose over 90 % of cases against foreign companies (I think exact percentage is 92.x % or something).
From court we heard that livelihood 200,000 people depend on that factory. Including family members of subcontractors. Indian authorities are more than happy happy to provide that kind of service to their own people.
And PS. don´t consider investing in India. I think Walmart did the right thing.
