‑‑I came on this board in May of 2012 to lend support to the vision RJ had of the way retail should be done. There seems to be a lot of fakers out there that chose my ID to impersonate because of my reputation. Many of them are not aware that the company and GB's attorneys probably monitor me and anyone who pretends to be me. Most of them sound more like clucking drunk chickens than anyone I would hire to work for J.C. Penney. After Labor day I plan on spending more time on here to show people what a retailer looks and sounds like. We had a fantastic tax holiday last month and as I travel from store to store, there are 4 more, I fail to see how anyone can say the rural stores are more profitable than the metro ones. So you can see how busy we have been and the plans going forward. My retail reputation is beyond reproach despite anything Messy posts. You'll notice he can never produce a post where he claims I've said things I've never said. As far as proof I'm who I say I am, I ask all the fake ID's, has Retayl ever replied to any of your posts, well he replies to mine. He may not be the biggest cookie in the jar but at least he's smart enough to know the real deal from a fake.

That must have taken you quite a bit of time to come up with MV. It was pretty good, but maybe we can get old Retayl to stop running away and see if he can spot the phony. I'm going to bet it'll take him about 30 seconds as much as he stalked me. Looks like the only one you fooled so far is Libo.

Got to ask yourself, why would anyone create so many ID's pretending to be me and then delete their posts. I've been on this board since the RJ days, proud of each and every one of my posts and have never felt the need to pretend to be anyone other than myself, and even old slip and fall Golden's attorneys' can't stop me from posting about JC Penney. So bring on those summons and court ordered search warrants. What's that I hear?

And besides, anyone from the number one tourist area in the USA refers to this area as Miami-Dade County, not Dade County, or Dades county!!

I don't know why you are trying to fool everyone with that ridiculous ID, but if you want anyone to believe you, I've got a question. I came on this board in 2012 and have posted the location of my store and the name of my superviser. If you really were me you would know the answer to these questions. So why don't you post the answers? The long time posters will know you're a fraud.

Sorry Charlie, just one ID. Can you say the same? Check the date my ID was created and then the ID of the imposter. Most men want to be me and most women want their men to be more like me, but this ID has been created by Makitvalue just like the others. I can understand people being jealous of me and impersonating me but have you/retayl/aloro, ha ha, ever noticed no one ever impersonated markit. I'm still the original one and only. I mean, how long has his satellite been out? It looks like three or four days and a made up story, and who likes to make up stories?

Can't believe you're still here pounding out the same old story again and again. Would have thought you'd have found a new company to target for your famous slip n fall. Nothing wrong with my JCP. I've been rewarded with a generous salary increase that will factor into my retirement. We're on our way back from the edge thanks a lot in part to warriors such as myself. Despite anything you may have misread in my postings, I'm one of the most dedicated, loyal, customer service oriented associates JCP has ever had. That's why I'm generally their first choice when it comes to training new employees in the fine art of dealing with people.

C'mon, the girl looks like she's at least 21, so she shouldn't need have anyone tell her the proper attire for an upscale apparel store. She looks more like she's dressed for a job at Burger Barn or Joe's Rib Shack.

I've identified myself many times as a current employee from Miami in my third decade with JCPenney as a team leader defending what is right for my company. If I had any inside information I would never divulge it, but your refusal to identify yourself as an associate is troubling. It's obvious you're trying to cast JCPenney in as positive of light as possible, but the way you do it makes us look stupid. You can post positive information and suggestions on here all day long about our company and no one will do anything. Naturally you can't state you should buy or sell our stock at a given price, but you can reference analysts calls, upgrades, or downgrades, etc., Anything that's public knowledge can be repeated on this or any other board.

What we learned today is what most people already knew. Short investors try to manipulate the market with fabricated nonsense. You guys have some stones to call out anyone with the horse manure you try slap together. A rumor a day makes you guys look silly and naive.

The "big" story last week " Fake Prices", copied and posted here by idiot poster 'retay101' turned out to be false. In fact you guys were educated today that it was the vendors who suggested putting the value on our price tags. In your haste to smear, you forgot to consider the source, and worst of all you forgot to DD. Rookie mistakes. You guys should try to take emotion out of your posts so as to be credible again. Remember it's not how much you post, it's what you post.

I was waiting on Ron to mention the nearly $1B and self funded transformation. He did, and like a balloon filled with air and then released, another "fake" talking point quickly fizzled out.

You also were educated today on what I already told you, in that we would return to growth in 2013. Growth will be enhanced mid March then a big impact by May when a division will be completed that looks shockingly good. You were told this but you guys are in la la land and in love with each other.

And you guys stop with the 'fake' shock and awe with our layoffs. You know as well as I do it's a win win for the company. As fringe brands go away there is less work for them to do. Also there is too many people doing the same job and only the best will be staying. Insert disgruntled.

I had to laugh at the poster who would like to be our new CEO. You've been offering your advice on jcp but you admitted you haven't stepped foot in our stores in years. May I suggest you first visit the retailer before you offer your expert investing advice on this board.

You can't be the real thing, since you're not smart enough to figure out that would not be a question in a court of law. Maybe you need to look up the definition of a deposition.

Let's take a journey into that paranoid world of yours where every new poster is MV. You could tell in a heartbeat if he or anyone else is an associate of JCPenney. If they will not advise you on a buy or sell price, they're probably an associate. Reason being, if for any reason posts from this board would be subpoenaed for any court action, like our serial slip and fall sue happy GB does, then JCPenney could be held liable for their actions, and potentially responsible for any losses. You'll notice I never post anything that is not information available to the general public. So, to set your mind at ease simply monitor posters that talk in vague generalities but will not post their buys and sells.

  • jcpenneyman85 jcpenneyman85 Jun 11, 2015 2:39 PM Flag

No one ever accused you of being exceptionally bright, but thought at least you would check that the poster is the real deal or an off the wall fake. You can tell how popular someone is by how often they are imitated. I think we all know by now which poster creates the most ID's and plays the most games. Loud and Proud since 2012 is my motto. I'm just enjoying hanging around to see how right RJ was in the first place. How's all those coupon clippers doing for your bottom line? LOL

As I've said before, all the men want to be like me and all the women just want me.

Didn't scare anyone unless you looked in a mirror.

Every company gets those silly class action lawsuits. That's partly why they all have a legal department. They're actually glad when some cockroach comes out of the woodwork, it gives them something to do. There are all types of cuckoos out there that would rather sue for money than work for it. Sound like anyone we know?

  • jcpenneyman85 jcpenneyman85 May 15, 2015 9:45 AM Flag

Geez that's exactly what my contact said.

I told you, don't even insinuate I'm anybody's inside information. Deleting this post won't do any good, I'll just put it back up.

  • jcpenneyman85 jcpenneyman85 May 15, 2015 8:47 AM Flag

Don't have too much time for posting this AM. Have to go to work today. You know what work is don't you Bob? That's what you do to make money when you're not suing somebody.

Your post smacks of jealousy that I was right and you were wrong.

Personally I like the new board format. My impersonators seem to have gone into hiding since it's harder to impersonate legitimate posters. Bet you're sorry to see JCPenney doing so well without you and the turnaround being on track. Survival of this company is no longer an issue and apparently your buddy R seems to have gone into hiding ashamed at being so wrong for so long. I think my batting average just went up to about .600. These days it's harder to find stories for retayl101 to COPY and PASTE that paint JCPenney in a negative light. And rather than being humiliated and being fearful that his batting average will continue to go down, he chose to opt out. I don't post as much anymore since things are going well. I believe a lot of people will be pleasantly surprised this earning report.
