    meaning of the interim update

My opinion is that Ceres has consistently presented bad news to its investor base. This poor performance has led to a very extended "no information" period. I think a lot was going on behind the scenes but they were very reticent to put out information that was only concerned with "potential" and not sustainable and revenue producing. I believe the tide has changed and products and sales should begin their Commercialization phase beginning with the next CC. Still a long way to go. Persephone licensing deals should begin soon. High biomass Sorghum should begin its revenue cycle as well. That's what I got from the late May and early June news. Doubt if anymore news will be out prior to CC so volatility in PPS should prevail. GLTA

  • CERE is looking for a national sales manager to market Persephone Software

  • A biological engineer friend of mine convinced me
He Said CERE had the long term answers to: climate control, water depletion, fertilizer pollution of our water, and insect devastation.

Cere provides greater yields of row and energy crops by adding traits that compensate for drought, insect infestation, poor soil nutrients etc...They began their journey over a decade ago and took measures to protect their intellectual property and worked to include partners that enhanced their business.

He said that like all companies in the agricultural biofuels field that CERE's PPS was crushed, and like some of the companies that they were getting through the Commercialization and sustainable stages and that over a period of a few years that their businesses would flourish. We will see. I am 10 cents from break even. Those that bought in the early stages are devastated, frustrated and #$%$ off. I mean this in all sincerity:If you wait another two years you will recoup your losses and perhaps even a lot more. If you read the very first article about CERE in seeking Alpha (I don't care for them either) the author bets against them, BUT says if they indeed succeeded that the PPS would be astronomical. It is a good read anyhow. I am in this for the very long haul.

The study, “Impacts of Biomass Sorghum Feedstock Production on Carbon Sequestration and Greenhouse Gas Emissions,” was funded by the AgriLife Research Cropping Systems bioenergy program and a U.S. Department of Agriculture-National Institute of Food and Agriculture grant.

The BLADE ® Tour program takes place in about 20 municipalities in the states of São Paulo , Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás and Minas Gerais . The goal is to increase the scope of the program after crop harvest , demonstrating the gains in productivity that culture can offer through high investment in local improvement that Ceres is developing in Brazil .

Ceres Seeds Brazil is a subsidiary of North American Ceres Inc. . The company is completing four years of Brazil until June and will conclude its commercial crop hybrids of sorghum Sweet Sorghum and High Biomass Blade Blade .

Holds one of the largest banks in the world sorghum germplasm , Ceres invests heavily to consolidate their hybrids as new energy matrices of ethanol production and biomass energy in the country

Company organizes technical roadmap municipalities in the agricultural frontier of cane sugar to show the productive potential of hybrid BLADE ®

Campinas ( SP ) - The crew of Ceres Seeds Brazil began at the end of March its BLADE ® Tour program. The initiative is aimed at presenting in more than 40 areas in Brazil , the line of new products and future releases in Sweet Sorghum Blade for production of ethanol and energy (bagasse ) and High Biomass Sorghum Blade for power generation and heat ( combustion ) .

For the Blade Tour , strategic partners as the sugarcane industry plants , biomass consuming industries and technical consultants are being invited .

The meetings focus mainly agronomic practices and feasibility of utilization of sorghum Blade line in addition to raw materials already used by sectors , thus seeking to increase productivity and availability of new solutions for both and for Biomass Ethanol .

So far companies have participated as Delta Plant , Plant New Gaul , Plant Pound , Ester Mill , Mill White Peres , Cutrale among others .

My guess is that part of the proceeds of the self will go to spinning off Persephone. Don't forget it works for human genomes as well. Jmho
