So 2016 average price per barrel is minimum around $75 for LInn and around 84 for 2015. Most energy analyst say oil will be moving upwards in 2016 to 2017 so, likely linn should weather this storm with near no hedge payments for 2017 or 18 in place.
Just release them from purgatory; return their stolen capital; regulate them properly; reject the theft / called warrants and restore them to their former greatness.
Yes, i agree put them out of their misery!
Most major players have their fuel purchases hedged into the future. This really has little short term effect on the operators; unless they can sell excess capacity at a gain.
There is quite a bit of irrational stupidity in the market today. Look around. We are in the midst of a pull back for some crazy reason; when all things really point to upside in so many places. This is really a stock that posed to be at $60 - $70 a share in 18 months.
You know, I don't think BK is on the horizon. At least not now / yet. At what price per barrel are all oil companies doomed? I think Line, resets its internal cost structure. Takes a hard look at it operating costs and begins to slash costs and renegotiate contracts.
They have a two year window to figure out the cost structure because of their hedges. Fact is at this point, i would not rehedge. Why? Given a two year runway, I'd make it work if I were in management and my figuring is there are smarter people than me working at Linn.
Wow... what kind of a stupid idea is that. Like saying... i bought stock in KO today. But aren't entitled to any of the 100 yrs of history, assets or value? Only stuff they create in the future. Dumber than dumb comment.
In the summary, Yahoo shows a dividend, small how ever much. Is this going to be provided to the shareholders going forward or is this just left over from the old co?
US tax payers were never on the "hook" for anything. What a joke. Force them to take billions and then "say" they are on the hook. What a joke.
I don't care fore mccain. he is a political wart; but i understand he fought for our country and I can only thank him for that. Does that make him a hero, well no, he did his job. Does, getting captured by the enemy make him a hero? No. But that doesn't make him a bad person either. I applaud his survival, and wish him well. But, I do not idolize him or make him out to be some greater than life statue. I wish him well, and hope retires soon, because of him, we have the current occupier of the highest office in the land, when a mere mortal should have spanked him. And for that he should be ridiculed.
Listened to it.
Was unimpressed at the lack of fervor in Rosner's narrative and the misconceptions of Kudlow. Sad, that he couldn't speak in more definitive terms.
Happy for the platform, but wish they'd be more truthful.
Pass on delaney. He is of no value.
