If price were to = earnings and people were still too stupid to buy it you would see one of three things or all three.: a double digit dividend, then the stock would price like a bond with a principle price reflecting a payout of 5 to 6%, or lots of CAPEX,or acreative acquisitions.
APPL with world's largest market cap, sitting on 150 billion in cash has not. How has this damaged their stock?
Analyst consensus continues to forecast growing earnings for WNC. Next qtr earnings estimates have improved from .13 to .17 in the last 30 days, yearly has improved .97 to1.13 in the last 30 days. An assumption which could be invalidated by "tricky" market behaviors: More trailers in the system will require the build out of more tractors to pull them.
Alaska is being impacted by low oil prices(crude oil taxes fund state gov,no state income tax,or sales tax). The 22,500 state workers are really nervous, many are expecting pink slips. As for me I ate fresh cow moose backstrap last night, and coho salmon from my freezer for today's lunch, so I'm just fine. That unseasonably cold November weather you experienced was cooked up in the Bering Sea weather kitchen just west of my home. I can't see the Bering Sea form my home, Russia either. None the less , I apologize for that nasty November weather we sent you. Weather or not the net impact of falling fuel prices reaches trucking company btm lines doesn't seem quite as important to me as it seems to be the perception held by most investors that it will. That's how I'm trading it in the short run. All the best.
CLNE, QTWW, WPRT all making positive moves(Nat gas highway). WNC(class 8 trailers) still moving on last week's earnings. Cummins and Pacar showing strong sales growth. This sector is really sizzling and it is hard to imagine that CMT could be left behind.
Today's investor reaction to WNC earnings report would seen to bode well for future class 8 tractor build outs.
WPRT price movement could also offer some optimism, although of that I personally feel less sure.
You are getting to be a very talented chartist. Congrats I know this kind of talent does not come without a lot of work. Any thoughts on Sunday's S B?
