hi
I suspect you rather enjoy #$%$ flavored lolliopos
So #$%$ on it...that'll put it out
Dudes, why do you invest? What is wrong with making money ? First you argue bag fees are bad yet every airline except Southwest benefits from them. Now you apparently are arguing that if I buy LUV stock for $14.38 a share, I should be overjoyed to collect a $0.16 dividend per year.
Let me educate you : I also own stock in Ryan Air and last November a $2.20 / share special dividend was distributed to share holders when RYAAY Stock was at $33./sh. ...and that wasn't the first time. And of course, the stock price has appreciated since then to $45./sh.
I believe Southwest has better market position than Ryan Air. The difference is Ryan Air has an aggressive CEO in Michael O'Leary and Southwest has this Dagwood Bumstead - type pansy Gary Kelly. Kelly insists on projecting this " Happy Family " , " Lil Airline That Could" image that worked well back in the 80's and 90's when Herb Kelleher 's Southwest Air was indeed a happy lil' airline family that was growing 25% a year. Tjat is no longer the case. Southwest is now the largest carrier in the US. It needs to act like it and capitalize on that advantage.
It's just business, dude. You need to put your $652.39 in a Christmas club savings account and leave the investing to us men.
You're an Idiot

Now you apparently are arguing that if one were to buy a share of LUV stock today for $14.38 he should be overjoyed to earn a $0.16 dividend per year. Let me educate you : I also own stock in Ryan Air and last November a $2.15 / share special dividend was distributed to share holders...and that wasn't the first time....not to mention the tremendous stock price run up. So charge $50 for each steamer trunk......you got any more stupid objections to making more money.
I love America.......I love aviation......and I really like Boeing.....and I love the 787.......but I would not fly on one.......YET ! ......and ceo mcnerney is a overpaid gasbag
Listen up, you ni-nincompoop.....I buy stock in companies to make money. Every airline in business charges bag fees except one. Southwest could D-O-U-B-L-E income by charging $5 per bag, 20% what other lines are charging. Only a dolt like you wouldn't understand that. And by the way, your amateur attempt of explaining the Southwest business model was the worst bunch of sh_t I've ever read. Lastly , no, I'm not upset with the price appreciation of the last six months, but even the most nincompoopish nincompoop would know that the price started moving up in November, 2012 , after Southwest announced a new batch of fees including cancellation fees, priority boarding fees, and change fees, none of which would raise as much revenue as baggage fees.
Yippee !!!! I can't wait to get that 4 cents when I was expecting 1 cent....I'm gonna buy another piece of bubble gum....Nice Job Dagwood !!!!
