Its trading now but is going to get pushed down with the yahoo saying it has a negative 1 cent book value. 2 months from now it is going to be at 50 cents or lower if its 20percent holder starts selling off stock.

They still have to make payments on the debt they took on to loan to the companies and as long as the revenue can be more then the cost of the dent payments we are good. But once the problems come to light like Colossus disaster and the fighting between a government agency and the miner that's where it goes wrong. Its one thing strong handing a miner down on its luck but it does not work that way with an foreign government. Look what happened to Vanessa Resources and how the world court ruled against them and Crystallex was handed the mine in Venezuela only to have another government so called partner step in and claim/steal it back from them. As long as SAND plays is Canada and doesn't stub any toes they are fine. Just keep swinging for doubles instead of home runs like Rio Tinto and Northern Dynasty Minerals/NAK and that's a cluster of hurt waiting to happen big time!

This company is basically a vulture/Mafia lending type of organization that hard luck miners have to turn too to get money quick for projects that bankers slam the doors at. They give them the funds but get lots of juicy back end goodies that nobody else would get to taking the risk and if they bet on the right company they make out like bandits. It a project/company gets into trouble along the way then they have to catch the falling knife to protect their money invested into it. They are hard negotiators and if you look at the companies they have taken interests in over the years they almost always come out winners in the end. Wouldn't you like to buy gold at $404 a ounce or 1/3 the market rate? If they did not buy the paper Luna was going to dump on the market the price would have fallen to 50-75 cents. So now they can prop up this show for another year and keep the money coming in and increase their ownership along the way.

    Sentiment: Hold

  • What do you expect from a country that has a very smart man running the show almost getting ousted by a retired professional wrestler? The other bad thing effecting this company is the SouthGobi mess and how they still have locked up/refused exit visa to some of the management of it. Plus they are mining coal at a loss with the export tax way to high until just recently. SouthGobi has big loans out standing to the shady arm of the Chinese government as another knife in the back they are twisting. China would love to walk in and take over all that has been done so far for pennies on the dollar.

    Sentiment: Buy

  • Over the next year, the Company anticipates a requirement of about $1.5 million to maintain current operating activities and from approximately $2 million to $5 million to fund: (1) the FDA approval process and initial deployment of the brachytherapy products, and (2) a sales capability for third party isotopes and equipment

The Company anticipates funding the initial six months of its requirements for brachytherapy, sales agency activities and potentially the acquisition of a controlling interest in the German company through the sale of equity or equity-linked securities.
The acquisition of a controlling interest in the German company likely would require up to approximately $3 million of cash and stock. Following its acquisition, the target company should operate on a cash positive basis. In allocating its capital between the brachytherapy products and the potential acquisition, the Company's first priority is the FDA clearance for, and successful roll-out of, the brachytherapy products. The Company believes that its acquisition of a controlling interest in the German target company would help achieve that goal in Europe and Russia.

My guess is they hope for a pop in the stock price after the FDA gives them the approval before they have to do a massive dilution to buy the German company otherwise we are looking at the 20-300mill share dilution to stay alive another year w/o Dr Bob keeping us in the good graces of Battelle. What they give us now is chicken feed compared to in the prior yrs when he was alive and pumping out the patents etc. If they do this merger under the 2-3 cent a stock price it will surely be only a matter of time before the dreaded Reverse stock split happens with at least a 5-10 to 1 reverse to make us somewhat credible depending on the going price of the day a yr from now or so.
