The only tongue and cheek about my post was that Nokia would go higher just because I bought. LOL. So far 30% of those options have made the rest of my options free me and we have an hour to go in the day. Let's see what happens. I might be holding a bunch of Nokia shares at the end of the day. That's a good thing either way.

  • Dublin, Ireland – Three has selected Nokia Networks to help develop what is designed to be Ireland’s best ever mobile network following its recent acquisition of O2 in Ireland. Nokia Networks will upgrade the operator’s 2G and 3G networks as part of an overall #$%$300m network investment plan by Three.

Deployment of new technology and hardware will start in September and the project will be completed by 2017, although Three expects customers to start benefiting from the improvements before then.

  • I've been sitting back reading everyone's speculation on why Nokia's stock price is moving up. The reason is quite simple, but hard to distinguish with so much going on with the company. If you look at what's been unfolding it all makes sense.

One word might help, Qualcom. Nokia is about to become a name mentioned along with this giant. The floodgates are about to open up in terms of Nokia cashing in on Royalties. Pay close attention to especially Qualcom, since Nokia is turning into that type of giant, among other companies that are having problems with China. A new view is going to take place and Asian companies will have to conform to a style we are more accustomed to in the West. This will allow Nokia to obtain Royalties at much, much higher rates than it receives at the current rate. What this is doing is allowing the door to open and right now, Nokia is ready to strike.

We're not done. This is the infancy of the new Nokia.

Ask HTC what they were thinking when they were stealing Nokia tech. Googles just a bigger company, bigger ego and will fall even harder when Nokia hits them.

Most of my options expire Jan 2015 and Jan 2016. Most are under $5. Nokia is my long-term darling.

Did you know most of Nokia's NSN contracts really start paying this quarter. We are at the halfway point of the quarter and everything is shaping up to be real pretty.

I wanted to show zitto118 how to make money with options. By the way expect a lot more of this in the coming days. $7,500 commission is worthwhile. My option money is bonus gambling money. Not to say I expect to lose on this bet.

The U.S. Transportation Department moved forward on writing rules that may mandate automakers’ use of talking-car technology, saying more than a thousand lives a year might be saved on the nation’s roadways.

Two of the most promising crash-avoidance technologies warning drivers of oncoming vehicles may prevent 592,000 crashes and save 1,083 lives annually, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said in rulemaking notice today on so-called vehicle-to-vehicle communications.

“By warning drivers of imminent danger, V2V technology has the potential to dramatically improve highway safety,” said David Friedman, the agency’s acting administrator. “V2V technology is ready to move toward implementation.”

Technology companies including Cisco Systems Inc. (CSCO) are among those vying to build the architecture for the connected car of the future. Google Inc. (GOOG) and Tesla Motors Inc. are among companies looking at employing automated systems that may be precursors to self-driving cars.

The technology lets cars automatically exchange safety data such as speed and position 10 times per second, and sends warnings to drivers if an imminent collision is sensed, the Transportation Department has said.

A research paper backing U.S. rules looked at two technologies. Left-turn assist warns drivers not to turn if an oncoming vehicle is approaching. Intersection-movement assist alerts motorists to stop short if there’s a high probability of a collision.

    Airwaves Needed

Automakers and technology companies have skirmished over whether the radio spectrum that’s been reserved for research into automotive communications should be shared for other uses, such as Wi-Fi. Carmakers such as General Motors Co. (GM) have said more research needs to be done to show that sha

It was directly focused toward short minded nim rods like you. What is your buy-in price? I would be afraid of getting boxed out if I were you.

When I bought Nokia at $1.99 I was laughing at the clowns that said it would go bankrupt. When I bought at $3.50 I laughed when shorts said this wouldn't go higher. When I bought today, I laughed at zittoii8 because Nokia will be $10 by the end of the year.

One Factor Driving Nokia (NOK) Stock Up Today

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Nokia (NOK_) rose Thursday after the communications company's network division, Nokia Solutions and Networks, signed a deal with Vodafone's (VOD_) New Zealand branch to install a 700 MHz-based LTE network.

The deal's financial terms have not been disclosed. The agreement comes after a five-year agreement between Nokia Solutions and Networks and telecommunications company Telenor, under which the former will provide the latter with radio access equipment and accomplished services. The two sides inked the deal in May.

Looks like the Street likes Nokia.
