they probably will not issue more shares til the price goes up,. which hopefully will be after the next qtr earnings report.
this fund has big positions in Freeport which just cut their dividend to almost nothing and owns quite a few big oil companies, this bears watching, I do own some shares but getting nervous.
Ken, I understand the story on China and India , you are correct, but the I think the ball game is changing even in China, the vehicles they will be buying will get 50 mpg and will be used mostly for local driving, India is so messed up, don't know when they will get into the 19th century. I definately don't have the answers but I am older with tons of time on my hands so I am trying to learn from everybody. Thanks for your sensible reply.
with the mandated mpg going up every year and the more residential and commercial use if solar and wind plus more and more vehicles being electric, what am I missing? please tell me.
All that I was thinking is that even though the price of oil has come way down , gasoline is up about 40 cents from it's low, not sure about jet fuel, but if they are refining their own jet fuel , it could be cheaper than other airlines are paying, even if they trade it off.
I have been an OPK holder since $4. my question now is, we are at $6 bn mkt cap, how much more is it worth assuming everything goes as planned with approvals?
right now , you have my attention and I must say my respect, i covered with puts rather than sell any shares , I just hope you are correct and this pullback is short lived.
does anybody agree with me that with cars continuing to get better gas mileage, plus the addition of battery and natural gas driven cars that we will continue to consume less and less oil worldwide.
does anybody agree with me that with all the advances in auto's that cars will probably be averaging about 50 mpg someday soon, and most of our oil is used for producing gasoline and we will never need as much oil world wide as we consume today, never mind battery driven ans natural gas driven cars.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
