My wife bought shares of Lidak back in 1998 because of Abreva... And that is when this 'Epic' Novel started in our portfolio...LOL

    Mr. T -
Owned a position since 1998 so I too lived - and survived - all the ups and downs with this company. I've mentioned this before on this message board, I've been stubborn with this stock and just couldn't let it go and move on. Must be the stubborn Swede in me.

AVNR has turned the corner and has finally awakened the sleeping Wall Street giant. Been a long time coming for all of us and I am surely going to enjoy it. Best to you.

Sarge - Thanks for the report. It indeed was a beautiful week for us long-time holders. The positive agitation results and the pps reaction should have all of us giddy these days along with the imminent release of further positive catalysts. I'm not surprised that a whole flock of shorts came in to assist in filling the gap. I do whole heartily agree with you on this though - I'd rather wake up long to when - not - if - the next positive catalyst hits the wires. The shorts will once again become our friends as they look for a way out. Include buyout rumors in the near future too . That alone will push the pps further north - especially if more than one big pharma shows interest in AVNR. Good times for all of us longs - enjoy!

More than just short covering going on. New base above $10 forming which will turn on more big investors.

I see he woke up all agitated this morning... AVNR has something for you to correct that.

  • No doubt AVNR has the full attention of the Investment World now. Good times for Longs - congrats all!

It would be interesting to hear if offers have been made and what those offers amounted to at this stage of ONCS's research. So with that said, what offer would interest ONCS Board of Directors at this stage of their research? What offers would interest ONCS Board of Directors if their 3-phase II trials proves to be an effective treatment to solid tumors? Obviously huge.

Next couple years will be exciting to all longs willing to ride out these pps swings because it can happen quickly. These five events ONCS is participating in this month will be giving them more exposure in the medical and investment world and also give ONCS an opportunity to share the latest news on their progress and potential. Exciting times are ahead.

With all that's going on in their pipeline, it certainly will be interesting to see where Avanir's pps is five years from now assuming they are not bought out by then.

  • Been waiting to say that for years! Shorts will be in denial and contribute to this phenomenon.

    Earnings Report/Stock Price

It is getting exciting and no doubt AVNR has its' act together. Management is clearly focused on establishing AVNR as a mid-cap biotech company.

After all these years I keep asking myself what price I would be happy with to pull the trigger and move on. I honestly can't answer that yet although it is a nice problem to have for a change.

I consider myself an old-timer since I have held shares since the Lidak days. So yes, I've seen it all with this company and pps movement. And I admit, I've been stubborn holding on to these shares all these years believing one day Wall Street would embrace this company in a positive way. But lawsuits, calculated, malicious - fictitious articles with a sole purpose of bashing the company seemed to always dampen any good news being reported.

There are many pharmaceuticals / biotech companies out there with less positive cash flow, more risks, and clearly speculative-driven that have a higher pps than AVNR. AVNR has indeed come a long way and clearly has a plan - and is executing that plan. So I will remain stubborn and hold on to my shares for one day Wall Street will embrace AVNR and get this pps where it belongs.

Seems longer than seven weeks since Punit released the 'Letter to the Shareholders'. Long Investors need to re-read this letter to reestablish confidence in ONCS goals and objectives. Nothing has changed in the past seven weeks although I do agree a bit of positive reassurance from Punit/IR would go a long way in stabilizing the pps.

There are risks holding an OTC stock in your portfolio long term when there is zero positive cash flow and when positive catalysts are the only thing that moves the pps forward. When news dries up and volume wanes, this incremental pull back can happen - and happen quickly. Everyone should have their own personal investment strategies in place to handle this volatility. In the end I have no doubt ONCS will be a very successful company and reward long shareholders accordingly.

The beauty of owning FB is watching all of the so-called analysts following this company pull numbers out of their #$%$ as to Facebook's potential earnings growth. Really, the size of this company - who all in the world touches it on a daily basis - is unprecedented.

The innovation and forward vision at Facebook is outstanding. They continue to grow and invent new sources of revenues streams. Going to be fun to watch over the next five years.

What side of the fence will you be on when much anticipated PH2 results are announced? Long? Short? Odds are results will move pps substantially with convincing statistics. Going to be exciting for sure.

  • When you have weeks of low volume days, these things happen. And when it does, stop orders get taken out. And when that happens to the typical retail investor, when do you get back in? Tough decisions to be buying on the way down when you could wait further and try to time the bottom. Not the best practice, but it surely fuels the capitulation when investors take that approach. Lets hope the bottom was made at .42. Silver lining is it allowed investors to average down their pps if they so choose. At this point ONCS needs to see sustained volume and close green today.
