I guess we might just find out with anr. I wouldn't be surprised if they did declare BK at this point. I mean they wouldn't really have to feel bad about wiping out the common shareholder because many of us have pretty much already been wiped out with this stock.
Well at least they have not broken the silence with bankruptcy like GTAT did today. That stock went form $10 to $.80 today. Feel sorry for all those investors wiped out. Be careful here cause if gold stays low that's just what anv might do. The stock price is definitely acting like some believe that is what will happen with anv.
The beating is purely do to the price of gold and silver. If gold was at 1500 anv would be at around $10. Problem now is gold could be doomed for years which could put anv out of business. The down cycle in coal has lasted a few years now and still no light at the end of the tunnel. Many analysts were calling for a turn around in coal beginning in 2014 after the harsh winter. No such luck. With a strong dollar and interest rates going up in 2015 it is not impossible for gold to be in a bearish cycle for sometime to come. If anv hits $2.50 I would think that is a great price to buy back in. But even at $2.50 if gold goes to1000-1100 and stays there, say 1 to 2 years, $2.50 might not be a safe buy. Nothing is a guarantee in the stock market or we all would be rich, so anyone who says anv will be fine has a blind eye to some of the challenges facing gold miners right now.
Yup totally lying about losing money with my most recent trade in anv. That makes sense low life jakey. At least I actually trade stocks where as you are just a board troll with no stakes in anything and nothing ever constructive to say. You should just off yourself already and end your suffering.
I don't know. Sounded like you where crying about me still being here. I am positive for the year with anv so I ain't crying. How about you? Are you in the red or black?
Whatever helps you sleep at night. But the odds are stacked against gold right now and if you don't see that you shouldn't be investing. You have to know when to cut your losses.
I hear yah. Dumped my 10,000 shares this morning for a loss from $3.50. Still positive for my anv trades this year though. I was in and out a bunch but this was the first time I had to sell for a loss. Wish all you longs the best of luck. But now that gold has gone below 1203 it is going to take a nuke to turn gold around. LOL. Gold will come back someday but weather it will be soon enough for anv to survive is really up in the air.
So did you buy back in today? Not me. Just not sure if market is going down further which would bring gluu with it.
We need something to happen. Bad jobs report maybe. But if ecb rolls out more stimulus this week the dollar just gets stronger and gold falls even more with bad jobs number. If you betting the odds then gold goes below 1200 soon and anv below $3. We need someone to blow off a nuke.
Yup I read it. Doesn't sound good. I am sure they are not just making up the numbers. Seeking alpha may be biased or a rag but they do research and are not complete liars. If gold doesn't go up soon I will be selling my 10,000 shares for sure. ANV does not have time on it's side for gold to rise.
You might kabash but at these gold prices anv does not. They have $400 million in debt and not much cash. Debt coming due will become a problem if gold does not move up in 6 months.
$3.25 is my exit point. That means gold most likely dropped below 1203 and is going to 1180 or worse and anv will be done anyway. At that point there will be much better places to put your money.
The dollar better collapse soon cause anv is running out of money. I have 10,000 shares of anv at $3.50 so I am not short. But I also know this is risky cause for anv to survive gold better turn around real soon, and I am not sure that is going to happen.
Definitely a gamble. If an agreement isn't reached and end pays the debt the stock wont go up much because many will still think bk is very possible early next year if oil prices and production don't increase. But good luck anyways. We all need some luck with this one right now. By the way if you took a $65,000 loss don't you have to wait a month to buy back in if you want to be able to right that loss off against your profits made this year?
He is obviously a liar. He knew where this company was heading if no agreement was reached with the bond holders. And now us retail investors know too. But a little to late unfortunately.
It aint going to go to $2. Maybe back to a $1 if they make the payment. But they will still have problems in the beginning of next year when more money is due. Next year is not far away. The only way it goes to $2 and END survives is if the holders agree to drop the interest rate. They have been in talks since June with no agreement. So it is definitely not looking good. Anyone buying or still holding is definitely taking a huge gamble. Right now I would say you have better odds playing black jack.
