Rolling_inflation like minds think alike. Your post is probably very accurate in my opinion. The interesting aspect of your post which coincides with my lead post
is that this will buy Elite time to put a few more ADF opioids on the market. ELI-201 and ELI-202 may be potential candidates. ELI-216 may also join the fray.

While Elite/Epic cannot handle the manufacture of multiple opioid ADFs when/if things really ramp up, they can handle the initial output of multiple ADFs quite easily.

With three possibly four ADFs out there, by the time Big Pharma would make a decision the price for the company and its technology increases depending on demand.

The FDA has already given notice that they want to curb this problem in the worst way so I think demand will be heavy over time.

Mid to late 2017 is exactly what I was thinking. By then the table should be set.
Buyout? I think we should hear of a suitor much before then. As I B would say on the Flub.... WoW~!

Bingo N2K. Man I love having you around to bounce things off of.
Okay. So correct me if I'm wrong. Don't worry I don't bite. LOL.

We agree that anymore than ELI-200 is going to be a stretch for Elite/Epic. Maybe they can pump one more out, but that is the absolute limit. Elite needs to expand. So what if they partner with a Pfizer let's say? No risk taken by Pfizer because they are only a "partner" at this point. Pfizer would fit very well with Elite's single beaded technology (I assume Elite developed this technology to replace Embeda, perhaps at the request of Pfizer, one never knows what goes on behind closed doors)... not saying this happened but think about locations of facilities. NYC and Northvale.

After a time where Pfizer feels comfortable with Elite's technology they decide that the technology
is a keeper. They decide to make a play for Elite. Now Elite may have several 505(b)2s filed with the FDA at that time...... but it won't matter. Pfizer will be assuming the risk if a buyout goes through.
Pfizer tenders a bid for Elite. Nasrat and the BoD decide if it is what they think is a fair price.

Notation: Only used Pfizer as an example. I believe Pfizer would still be uinder the same obligation to pay Purdue part of the revenue even if it used Elite's better Embeda. All of this is conjecture so nobody get excited please. Just shooting the breeze here.

    Comments N2K?
    TIA

Got ya red eye guy~! Hope you are able to make the next meeting.as well.
Nasrat is the man. His pharmaceutical experience is the best I have ever encountered.
If I was working for Elite they would have no problem with me just about living there.
Am also in pharmaceuticals and am simply amazed at what they have done in a short space of time.
    Aloha~!

As for Elite they closed green on a Friday which almost always bodes well going into the following week.
I thought you had experience in the market Billy Boy. Apparently you don't.

Dream on......... friendly takeover can happen but won't.. It will more than likely be a tendered buyout offer after Nasrat is satisfied with where the company is positioned in this sector. Nasrat is not going to be giving the company away for peanuts. This is a multi-billion dollar platform.

When do you think a tendered offer will be made? IMO not for a while.......

Meanwhile we shareholders have opioid ADFs to look forward to, increasing revenues each quarter, a move to a higher exchange (NASDAQ more than likely). and a possible buyout in the near future.
Looking forward to FDA approval of ELI-200, then other 505(b)2 submissions to the FDA.

Hostile takeover not going to happen. Friendly takeover very unlikely unless they were to offer something extraordinary. That will not happen. Elite is just learning to walk. Let it begin to run. Some may balk at paying a much higher price...... but there is always one that will.

Fact Sheet – FDA Opioids Action Plan

Elite's ADF is the FDA's magic bullet in the fight on prescription opioid abuse.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • One observation I took away from the stockholder meeting in June of 2014. Nasrat seemed to me and another I was with to be determined on making Elite Pharmaceuticals a key player in the ADF prescription opioid portion of the pharmaceutical market.

Make no mistake about it, Nasrat wants to transform Elite from a little train engine that could into a large train engine that can and is. During this shareholder meeting it was announced that 5 opioid ADFs were in development.
During the August quarterly of 2014 that number was increased to 7 opioid ADFs in development.
Currently on Elite's homepage the number is 11 opioids in various stages of development with ELI-200
now in FDA hands for review.

Along with these opioid ADFs in various stages of development there is now one bead and two bead formulations of the opioid ADF. This also posted on Elites website.

So the seriousness of Nasrat's tenure as CEO of Elite is not to be taken lightly. When Jerry was CEO the primary objective was company survival by bringing in generic pharmaceuticals to create a revenue base which Elite could use for ADF patent protection and further R&D expenditures. Debts also had to be paid.

Nasrat comes into what was not the best situation as the new CEO and within 6 months starts to make strides with the opioid ADF as the priority product.
The fact is, even when Jerry was CEO, the opioid ADF was ALWAYS the priority. Elite management knew what it had then, it was just a matter of bringing it to a point where they could get it to market.

There are still several ways Elite may be able to go in the future. An immediate buyout IMO is not one.
Not yet. The feeling I got from Nasrat at that shareholders meeting was that Elite was his company. I really felt a sense of ownership and responsibility to the investors, the shareholders of Elite Pharmaceuticals.
Shareholders of Elite Pharmaceuticals for the most part are very loyal and that is recognized by management.
    Our day is coming. Jill

Nice job No2Koolaid. Was wondering what incited Doc Lowonbrains into his lengthy but insipid sparring with you. Some of what you said really #$%$
Doc off. Then Docs challenged brother stockboy tried to jump in.
Does seem like these employees are getting frustrated due to the knowledgeable
longs which keep them in check refuting their every post of misinformation.

Also Doc refuses to admit you did valuation assessment for a living. This is/was your stock and trade No2Koolaid. Hard to argue with your level of expertise after reading many of your posts.

It would be like trying to argue with Lasers about pharmaceutical basic formulations.

Enjoy all of your insight. Your posts are terrific reads.

The Flub is a basic boiler room operation in message board form. They delete what they want to delete and slant the rules to favor the bashers. Perfect setup
for distributing misinformation getting weak hands to fold.
My opinion. The Flub is an outright JoKe which should be seriously looked at by the Feds.

In some ways this forum is better where people can be called out . In other ways this forum is not better n that the information pertaining to Elite is not as good.
Pick your poison but do your own due diligence.

    Thanks again No2Koolaid.

    Billy ooops I mean Johnny.....oopps I mean stockBOY....ooppps I mean ToolBOY Timmy
sorry to enlighten you...... I have it completely right on the button. I've been right about Elite since 2011.

You on the other hand have been wrong about everything that has anything to do with
Purdue, Pfizer, and Elite with regard to pain management.
Elite is the FDAs magic bullet against prescription opioid abuse.

It is coming and there is not ONE single thing you or anyone else can do to stop it.
Must be frustrating sitting in your sinking ship trying to conjure excuses and misinformation
    about Elite and its management.
How sad for you....... :-( LOL LOL

Nice analogy Ama. So true about Netflix and Blockbuster. Same will be true of Big Pharmas
like Pfizer and especially Purdue. Pfizer will recover because pain management is not their
sole drug line. Purdue on the other hand is so phucked up the A.
Pain management is their bread and butter. That is it~! They have nothing else.

See what happens when companies put all their eggs in one basket? A better mousetrap comes along like Netflix did with Blockbuster and Elite will with Purdue.

And yes. Elite would never get taken over by another pharmaceutical. The poison pill was put in place because Elite management knew they had the good in their ADF.
Now even Pfizer's Embeda becomes endangered as Elite goes to single beaded as well as double beaded. Pfizer may be phucked as well.

Elite is in a possibly dominant position. 11 opioids in various stages of development.
They can also license the manufacture of the opioids out to other pharmaceuticals but it will come at a cost. Elite sits in the cat bird seat, while other pharmaceuticals can do virtually nothing but wait.

Purdue had their chance with Elite way back in the mid 2000s . Purdue BLEW it. They thought they had the
technology all locked up only to find out their version did not work as they thought it would.

Elite uses a proprietary polymer which is under patent protection. Purdue is so phucked.

Elite has a game changing platform that should change the way prescription opioids are manufactured and sold.

Even hospitals will be wary of keeping the non ADF versions in their dispensaries. Non ADF versions of opioids will command an even higher street value as they become more rare. It will be too tempting for healthcare professionals not to try to get around the checks and balances of the controlled non ADF narcs in hospitals.

Should anything happen hospitals will get sued IF they had access to ADF versions and were lax in using those versions.

Elite's ADF is the FDAs magic bullet. Elite's ADF is going to change the prescription opioid landscape alright. It is just what the FDA/DEA needs.
