No2koolaid69, I agree with you that Big Pharma is under the gun here and may have to give Elite a shot, however, the forces at play here are much larger than Big Pharma.
At the moment there is NO solution to the prescription opioid epidemic.
Big Pharma enjoys the fact that there is no "magic bullet" with which to fight the ongoing problem.
Pressure will be put on the FDA by legislation AND the DEA. If Elite has got what they claim to have, in so much as their ART is as advertised
the FDA will be put into a corner. Either take a dump or get the heck off the pot~!
I believe this is the ultimate goal of Elite management because they know there is NO other solution out there. NOTHING is available nor will it be available for years that is as flexible and effective as their solution.

Could a mandate be possible in the near future IF the FDA has a tool
such as Elite's ART at its disposal? Most certainly YES. It could happen.
Big Pharam also knows this. Potential $billions$ are at stake here.

Rather than Big Pharma making a play for Elite, look for Elite to do a merger with a partner such as Epic. Big Pharma is soon to be at Elite's mercy. Elite is in the drivers seat here, not the other way around.

Jerry has known Elite's technology potential for years. Nasrat also knows. They will not sell this company for a few bucks a share. We shareholders just need to wait patiently while things unfold.

While Pfizer has had their problems with Embeda, which still continue, I really doubt that Elite will get an offer they will be satisfied with after the first NDA is given approval.
It would have to be a Godfather offer from the likes of Pfizer or even Purdue.
I would even venture to guess that Nasrat has already met with the principles of both of those companies. Simply put...... they want too much for too little in return.

The larger question remains, if marketing and name recognition is all the Big Boys have to offer why would Nasrat or Jerry and the BoD sell themselves cheap?

Here's what I think may happen and it may take a while for the pot to reach a boil so patience will be needed. Nasrat/Jerry and the BoD aren't going to entertain any offers in the immediate future, unless it's a Godfather offer.
Instead they will continue to build the company portfolio over time with ART prescription opioids.
Remember folks, things will take time to ramp up here . Nothing happens overnight.
As more ART opioids that are introduced the value of the company goes up.
If Elite does a reverse merger with Epic..... the value of the company will go up.
Elite finds a viable marketing partner for the ART opioids the value of Elite will go up.

Lots of things in play here for those who do their due diligence......... a whole lotta things
can happen here without a Big Pharma buy out. Very favorable things for Elite and its shareholders can happen with Big Pharma or without Big Pharma.
The take it or leave it ploy for Big Pharma does not exist. Elite will do very well without them. So it will have to be an offer one cannot refuse in order for Elite to accept it.
Nasrat isn't expending all this time and effort to just give the company away for peanuts
folks. He knows the value of Elite's ART.
Lot's of things in play here for this plug and play technology once this ART is out there things in the prescription opioid world may HAVE to change. Elite's ART is the tool needed.

Yeah Welches...... when did you ever get in touch with "smart money"?
Isradipine is already built into the share price.

Just another generic added to Elite's portfolio that will make Elite's revenues for R&D expenses
grow larger. Did you know that some generic drugs cost as much as non generics Welches?
Prices on some generics have gone through the roof. Why do you suppose that is Welches?

Not saying Elite will make a fortune on their generic line. Just saying that there is plenty of room for growth here. Revenues going forward will be okay with the generic line.

Put on your thinking cap Welches.............

The Amish and Quacker community in Lancaster County is sad today. The ducks didn't have enough Quack to over come Urban Oscar Meyer the Ohio State Weenies. Maybe this means Mariota drops
as a draft pick. Same thing happened to Aaron Rodgers. Will see if the Oregon Duck with Quacker connections stays a high pick or slips in the draft. Oregon was without their top wide out who was suspended. No excuse, Ducks were thoroughly whooped by the Urban Oscar Meyer Ohio State Weeners. Pass the mustard please.

If elected president they will have to move the presidential bath tub up to Lake Michigan. Freakin

Yawn...... CDBellyachinPoint who cares what you think.
If you feel the company has let you down then Dez Bryant Boo Hoo, sell and move on.

For the rest of us this remains a very positive investment.
News just released this morning of a drug bust in the Philly area where the perp was busted for trying to sell prescription drugs to an undercover cop.

Big Pharma LOVES the fact that they can continue to manufacture legal Heroin without consequence. They make money both ways, have their cake and eat it too.

The FDA is really a stooopid gpvenrment agency that is basically bought and paid for by Big Pharma.

Elite's ART is coming. They delayed it, but not even the FDA can stop it forever.

That is exactly why Jerry converted his preferred shares to common back in the fall of 2014.
If Elite were given the green light to submit their NDA without further testing Jerry and Nasrat who bought 750K more would have been ready for the ride up.
Why chance not holding common shares?

So, as it stands further efficacy tests are required which just delays the inevitable...... a major move up.

Cannot atop what is coming....... a matter of not IF but WHEN.
