When they are selling stock at $6.25, is that in the stockholder's interest? Hard to see how.
And we are talking ab out a huge need to cover here. Tons of shorts still outstanding and it is clear that every one of them is a loss. Yes, there may be outstanding options but options are driven by the market price of the stock, not the other way around.
Exercising the call option does not create a market order while covering the short creates a market BUY. Thus, the net impact on the market for the stock is to add more BUY orders.
I am no good at calling market swings but If I thought the market were going to dip I would be in cash, not stock. I generally hold small cap stocks where expected future earnings growth has not been properly priced. To do that I use the analysts' future earnings estimates (but only if they have a fairly good recent accuracy). In this case they have been overly optimistic and still estimate only tepid growth. I look at a year timeframe, as I don't think analysts have any useful accuracy past that. Under the resulting formula TCX looks properly priced or a little high. So I don't see a market-beating price one year out.
Sentiment: Sell
It is waking up and the fundamentals look great. Run the numbers any way you like and they add to a minimum $100 value today.
Great posting. I have one pricing model at $100 and one at $150. Frankly, would take a $125 offer tomorrow. Bought more today and it will soon be my largest holding as there is nothing in my portfolio I feel so confident with.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
So on assets you would price it at $4.03 and on earnings at $3.20. I don't see support for $5 here.
GILD does look good in my model but the PE is already pretty high and payoff is down the road. I think QCOR is s shoe-in at today's low PE
Once the market understands the fundamentals price tends to go there. My models show $100 conservatively. And work has gotten out to the fundamentalists now. Keep on buying.
Sentiment: Strong Buy

Thanks for the analysis. I agree. My fundamentals model predicts $30 within a year. Stocks tend toward the fundamentals but it can take time.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I really cannot find anything I feel safer with or better positioned to double. The fundamentals are dawning on people and will continue to. This is a $100 stock within 9 months. Hold.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
But either way they still have to buy stock to cover the calls.
Yep, and what it is saying is "Go up to $100"
They have lost their shirts and have no hope of recovery, Just look at profit level predicted by the analysts even before the recent great buy. A forward PE around 7 with growth of over 40% FTM over TTM. Unless they are totally wrong, the forward PE should double. Fundamentals will support a price of $100. I increased my position yesterday at $43.80 and will hold until $100 at least.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Ok, you convinced me. I am back in at $43.80 I think it could go as low as $43 today but my target is $100 so why worry about a few cents short-term down. The shorts are just nuts, as the expected earnings will have to go up soon to levels that will cause the PE to rise etc.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I still think this is a great stock. I just know there is a "usual pattern" to big jumps of new buyers bidding up then profit takers driving it down. But maybe you are right in that it is down from the peak already. I am watching close and will buy back by the end of tomorrow at the latest.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
So price will go down a bit today and tomorrow. But Goldenstockss is right, the PE and the E itself are going up. I am out on the dip at $44 but expect to buy back in later in the week.
Or maybe never. Could just be a ploy to give insiders a chance to unload stock. I have seen it happen with another company from China. The numbers and intentions are just whatever management wants to say they are. Been there, seen that.
This stock has been tooling around this price since 2009. The lone analyst just lowered his 2013 and 2014 estimates after the company failed to match his last quarter's estimates. While I have made a few bucks on fluctuations, on the whole, this is a waste of capital.
