In last conf. call hastings said net neutrality wouldn't hurt them... Uhm lie! Now he's saying that NFLX downloads are from 14-20% slower then before because of net neutrality!!!! Wow, one lie after the next. Then hastings sold more shares right after!!!
You dummies that don't understand the game on wall st. are embarrassing. I don't care how high NFLX goes - it's all artificial run-up by a few institutions. This type of manipulation has destroyed the entire market. No one trusts these crooks. Running up fake prices with average joes mutual money, not their own $$. Who is there to sell junk like NFLX too in the end. No one!!!! Average joe and jane will get ripped off again, but this time much worse.
Everyone is just trying to sell you something -- you must know that to profit in these times. Nothing is what it seems. You fantasyland guys on these boards are either lying or really dumb and gullible. You will lose big buying stocks like this. When truth comes out these stocks can drop 25% in minutes. Good luck......
No they're not - 3-4 million viewers is not that big of a deal. And NFLX won't really reveal numbers of viewers because they say it's hard with streaming to get an initial viewership rating unlike network tv. Still there's no proof that there are many people watching any of these NFLX serials..... By far the most overpriced stock in the market. At least Amazon runs a good business.
Watch B movies and foreign movies that no one has ever heard of???? What the hell are you watching on here - that's the question!
$7.3Billion for content liabilities -- and that's for the garbage they have now!!??
That's what I can never understand. I have had NFLX - a bunch of B movies and some sitcoms - that have maybe a few million people watching them. Complete hype. If one real competitor decides to take what little content they have it's over.
As for you halfwits who think you can play around with this stock because it's always going up - save it. Why would you play around buying this thing when you admit that it's being completely manipulated. Just stay away from these complete crooked institutional controlled stocks. I hope instead you were buying puts for as far out as you could on the market when we were at 16500. If it goes near there again or over buy puts again.
Wall st dimwit who has never once answered when asked if he is buying shares of NFLX. Debt doesn't matter dimwit?? You clearly have never run a business - of course it matters. The minute there's a lull or drop in revenue they are done. $7.3 billion in "off balance sheet liabilities" -- that don't matter does it dum-dum. You are a liar and a fraud. You have never owned a share of NFLX and you never state that you do. So why are you here? You work for NFLX??
Again, CONTENT -- is their entire business and it's not on the balance sheet -- complete and utter crooked insanity. It's like owning a gas station and gas is "off the balance sheet" - what!!??
All the little pumpers are complete nerds in parents basements - know one can stick up for these lies. This is pathetic.
Yup, truly insolvent company if liabilities were accounted for. I really have never seen anything as crooked as this in all my years of investing. This companies number one liability is CONTENT!!! And they don't have to put it in the books!!?? Wheres the SEC........
Hastings also said that it's good for people to get more bandwith in their phone/internet plans!! What!? He expects that you and I will just pay for more gb of data on our phone/broadband plans -- so NFLX won't have to!! So what, that would kill NFLX.....
Verizon already charges out the #$%$ for 8 or 10 gb of data on my phone plan --- how would I ever afford 64gb!!! Unreal -- it's not about NFLX raising its rates $2 -- rather you and I paying $50 to raise our data plans!!
Put this with the off balance sheet liabilities and this is the scammiest stock I have seen in all my years of investing. Never have I seen a company not have to report their main expense in their balance sheets ___-------- CONTENT!!!!!
Only in the rigged US stock market can you get away with keeping $7.3 billion in liabilities off your balance sheet. I can't get away with that in my business nor can anyone else. But if you're a crooked public company you get to HIDE your true numbers and debts and lie to your investors.
Who watched the stooge on the earnings call dodge that one. It's not the debt that's scary with nflx -- it's these liabilities that are growing faster every month.
