  • Wiki How -

Most of us use the telephone on a daily basis, but we may not always do so in the recommended way. Here are some helpful steps for better phone experiences when calling TRX investor relations.

    1. Mute or turn off the television before attempting to use the phone.

    2. Always say "Hello." Do not say anything else, unless you already know who is calling. Jokes, personal greetings, or random words can be off-putting to unknown callers.

    3. Use an approved company greeting when answering a business call. Do not just say "Hi," as some callers will consider this unprofessional.

    4. Allow the line to ring at least five times before hanging up. This gives the other party enough time to finish (or interrupt) whatever they may be doing and come to the phone. If you called just to chat, hang up at five rings, otherwise it may get bothersome to the other party.

    5. If possible, ask anyone you call if it is a good time to be calling. Do not simply launch into a monologue without checking to see whether the other person is busy.

    6. Be sure to state the purpose of the call early in the conversation, and thank the other person before you complete the call.

    7. Be patient and listen to the caller carefully.

    8. Finished.

And your still here? Why not do something about it?

Did you turn to bashing TRX into a full time job?

You and Relbo are both quite capable of emailing those top 10 questions to IR. If your so dead set about it being false information, get a written response to your questions. The author of the article could have done the same thing.

While the hedge funds play smash the price, BTFD and say thanks!

    It's not rocket science.

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Dec. 8, 2014) - Pretium Resources Inc. (TSX:PVG)(NYSE:PVG) ("Pretivm" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd. ("Zijin") has agreed to make a strategic investment in the Company which will result in Zijin owning approximately 9.9% of Pretivm's issued and outstanding shares. Pretivm has agreed to issue to Zijin by way of a private placement 12,836,826 common shares of the Company (the "Purchased Shares") at a price per share of C$6.30 for gross proceeds of approximately C$80,872,004 (the "Offering"). Zijin is a Shanghai and Hong Kong listed company with extensive interests across a broad range of commodities, and is the largest gold producer in China.

The Offering constitutes a significant portion of the planned equity component of the financing required to bring the Brucejack Project into production. Pretivm intends to use the proceeds from the Offering to fund capital expenditures including the procurement of long-lead items and camp infrastructure. The permitting process for a 2,700 tonne-per-day underground mine at Brucejack is currently underway.

"Zijin's investment positions us well at a critical stage in our advance to production," said Pretivm's CEO Robert Quartermain. "Zijin is a well-capitalized shareholder, and as fellow shareholders, we value their long-term outlook and commitment to gold and to the successful development of our Brucejack Project as a high-grade gold mine."

The Offering is scheduled to close on or about January 16, 2015, subject to regulatory approvals and approvals from the Chinese government or its relevant authorized departments. Pursuant to the subscription agreement, Zijin will be entitled to nominate one person to be appointed to the board of directors of Pretivm and will have a pre-emptive right to participate in any future equity financings of Pretivm to maintain its approximately 9.9% interest.

This new investor, while learning the basics, is particularly vulnerable to the tactics of professional Bashers. New investors tend to lurk in the background of message boards, content to form independent opinions based on what they read with their own eyes. Very often, honest, intelligent and cautious people can easily be overcome by a well orchestrated propaganda effort.

You must always remember that their is a lot of money to be made in just the motion of a stock UP or DOWN it doesn't matter! And Bashers have money at risk just as you do. But they have the edge of fear, lies, and falsehoods to post while preying on the un-initiated. The average investor dose not have the edge of organized deception.

Recent revelations have indicated that even Market Makers (those charged with keeping the playing field level) have been involved in stock manipulation by Bashing on a stock message board. HAVE NO DOUBT THAT THIS IS A REAL THREAT!

Lesson 1: Remember, BASHERS NEVER Bash A BAD STOCK. Check the boards for stocks with no potential. They never have any Bashers. Bashers only go after stocks that are moving up or have excellent potential to do so. Bashers work to bring the price down to either increase their position at the expense of others or help a Short make their bones. Continued...search title

Is the "Bashing" of a stock an essential part of the online investment landscape?

Our Constitution guarantees us free speech and we have always valued the lessons gleaned from dissent. When does dissent cross over that imaginary line and become "Bashing"? To often we find well grounded dissent capriciously labeled as "Bashing" by over zealous investors bent on protecting a stocks reputation at any cost. The "Bashing" that is addressed on this site is quite different from dissent. The Anatomy of a Basher strives to look at the calculated erosion of confidence in a given stock. Erosion by means that are, in every sense, void of truth, hinged on deception and innuendo, and motivated by greed at the expense of others. This compendium is offered to aid in identifying the telltale signs of "Bashing", and hopefully provide a counter balance to this heretofore unchecked manipulation of investors fears for personal gain.

IS IT EASIER TO SCARE PEOPLE INTO SELLING THAN IT IS TO SCARE PEOPLE INTO BUYING A STOCK? I have asked some knowledgeable investors this question and the answer is always: "YES, OF COURSE YES!"

    WHO BASHERS PREY UPON

Consider the elderly that are investing for retirement, they find their way to the message boards for validation only to see false posts about "SEC Violations" and "Class action suits"... or the head of a "typical growing family", with children to put through college, who is monitoring a message board only to read posts by a "pack of 15 to 20 Bashers" (probably 5 or 6 under various alias's) posting continuous disinformation... what do you think these new investors will do? It's safer to not buy or even sell the stock, put the money back in the bank than to deal with all this whirl wind of "unsupported" negative chaff.

The Internet has lured a whole new class of investor into the market. A new investor is just that - New!

An Inside Look At The Shocking Role Of Gold In The "New Normal"

From Paul Mylchreest of ADM Investor Service International

Long Nikkei/Short Gold: Profitable, dangerous and missed by everybody?

Has the market completely missed a huge long/short trade which has helped to drive up the Nikkei and drive down the gold price for more than 2 years? One that puts risk-taking and leveraged speculation by our industry in an unfavourable light again.

    * * *
    Executive Summary

In the report we outline a thesis which draws together a complex web of interactions between Japanese equities, the gold market, repo financing, BoJ monetary policy meetings and anomalies in the silver market.

These interactions began forming in late-2012, specifically around September, as far as we can tell. With hind-sight, this was a pivotal period in recent financial history, when central banks embarked on a new phase of aggressive credit creation. We found no evidence of these interactions beforehand and think it is fairly unlikely that they are merely the result of coincidence.

At the centre of this, it looks to us like a large, leveraged long/short trade has been built up which is long the Nikkei index and short gold. The more the Nikkei has risen, the more the gold price has been pushed down.

Bull... the article came out this week. The same players spout the same BS over the years. Sorry if the SA article peaked my interest. Who knew they were in Israel? You will like the Japan/gold article. The LMBA shuts down GOFO early next year. You can see why.
