Gorilla Glass?!! Wow! Are you a clinical idiot? Gorilla Glass!!! Good grief, is that supposed to sow fear among OLED investors?! Is that the best you can do? It would be funny if it didn't telegraph such a pathetic grasping at straws! How far down in your toy box did you have to reach to come up with that one? OMG!
There's an obvious need to tamp down anticipation of OLED adoption by Apple. Can you imagine the impact that such anticipation would have on the Chinese market? A whole lot of status-conscious Chinese would very likely sit on their hands rather than fork over their hard earned money for yesterday's technology. After all, an I-Phone is already a reach for such consumers; many would hold off on such a purchase if rumors of OLED gained credence. I now view OLED adoption in the I-Phone 7 as a given.
Fanned by highlighted coverage in Investor's Business Daily, institution's need to include quarterly winners in their stable of holdings, and what is only the beginning of broader demand by newly aware "retail" investors, OLED is likely to move much higher. Effort to wrestle it down at the end of trading on Friday only succeeded because of the attenuated trading hours. There will be some nausea-inducing volatility ahead,to be sure, but I see this hitting $78 before the year is out. I actually wish it would rise more methodically, but the psychology of these pile-ons is powerful stuff.
Why on earth would Apple want to telegraph such plans? This "source" of Apple "leaks" clearly serves Apple's interests. I rather suspect that Apple, through such "credible" leaks, does not wish to provide anticipation of AMOLED adoption. Plus, you know Apple is going to integrate a proprietary element to their AMOLED display.
Well, now, that certainly makes you a winner! With skills like that, it's a wonder you waste your precious time on this board. Wow! Think about it -- raking in your daily winnings! I guess it's all in day's work, huh? I'm glad we were finally able to establish your bona fides/credibility. I don't know how we ever came to doubt you. Keep up the good work!
a few actual shares (rather than the volume generating virtual trading among themselves). Then, at the end of the session, it's time to return the Roomba to it's docking station (along with OLED's miraculously resuscitated stock price). All in a day's work. Happily, that strategy is yielding ever diminishing results!
Don't get so worked up; just let it go. You provide a balanced view and add value to this board. Many people just can't get past some of the over-the-top schtick of your persona.
You nailed it. Increased regulation has only promoted a radical growth in legal
avenues of manipulation. So brazen; so blatant. SEC is utterly toothless.
and here's why. NEO is registering explosive growth (do your own research). Just acquired GE's lab business (and GE stays on as a partner investor). This was on the heels of other impressive moves. NEO's prostate liquid biopsy is a VERY REA THREAT to OPk's competing product. While both tests can likely stand on their respective merits, NEO's IS VERY LIKELY to be regarded as the superior product (it reflects a higher level of proprietary IP) at the end of the day. It would, in a word, be STUPID, not to bring NEO under OPK's umbrella before NEO's price explodes (which is highly likely, now that its price has surpassed the level that allows most institutions to invest in it).
And you won't - yet. Top down = in every sports bar in the country at premium prices (business expense). Patrons will be lining up for the consumer models.
definitely feel any economic slowdown, it's equally true that the OLED TVs are being snapped up by a sector of the consumer market that would rather pay a premium (ever shrinking) to assure they are not purchasing stale technology. Additionally, people will splurge on premium TVs. For many, TV ( Netflix) is among their few guilty pleasures/escapes.
Blows, there's no need to be insulting. While I thoroughly enjoy your streetwise-savvy, I was only noting a fairly significant news item, one that I believe is being coordinated/funded indirectly by Apple.
Given OPK's recent buyout of BRLI and OPK's investment in liquid biopsy for prostate cancer, I imagine that Dr. Frost has NEO front and center on his radar screen. He could easily make a very strong case for bringing NEO under the OPK umbrella. Just saying. Long term, probably best to remain independent (with a GE assist). That said, it would make sense for Frost to move sooner rather than later. All credit to NEO management on execution.
