I'm not much of a poster (only a handful over the last couple of years) but what a ride this stock is! Definitely not for the faint of heart. I've been long for the last year and a half, saw the terrible slide in late 2012, and enjoyed the ride back up in 2013.
I don't know where the stock will be tomorrow, in a week, a month, but I do know there is one thing that holds true here. We, longs have time on our side. We have time to continue to enjoy our dividends, time to enjoy continued financial success by the company. Yes, risks exist, like all investments, but let's look at the risks currently clouding the stock, DOJ investigation and FDA evaluation. I'm not sure how to best to evaluate these risks and I won't start another firestorm by giving my opinion and telling everybody not to worry about it. What I do feel confident of is this, once again time is on our side! These things will not come to any kind of conclusion anytime soon. In fact with both, the issues may go away and there will be no announcement at all! So with each day that passes, QCOR is adding value, creating business, exploring new opportunities, etc. So, who would you rather be, long or short? If you can't handle the volatility, then this is definitely not for you, but if you can, and you have the patience to weather this storm, take a look at any chart and see what happens after a severe dip. Hopefully that will give you some comfort at night.
Good luck longs!
Hi Jon. How's your TSLA short working out? Didn't you short 10k at $195 a couple of days ago? Weeeeeeeeee! Having fun? Up to $220 in after hrs. Help me, my math isn't too good. What is that? $25,000 loss? No wait, that's $250,000! Nice work. Of course we know you are full of #$%$ so it was probably more like 10 shares right? The hits keep coming right Jon. Shorting Qcor in the 20s, wow! Do you ever get tired of looking like a fool or are you used to it by now?
Does jonny know what a complete moron he sounds like? He must be doing this just for kicks to get some yuks and a rise out of people. Nobody is this stupid! Or does he really believe his ridiculous comments actually move the market? How big a moron is he really??
Once again, the jon kelley "weeeeee" indicator never fails. Buy when he comments. Been doing it since low 20s and the dude is making me money!!!!! Weeeeeeeeeeee!!!
Okay, I'm long and have been for about a year. Obviously, I'm doing extremely well. Combination of long shares and call options. But I'm not burying my head in the sand and assuming this will keep going up, so i would like to hear from the board with comments (hopefully good ones).
I have a couple of basic questions for longs and shorts (I'd even like to hear from jon kelly, bear raid, fraud street, et al - if they can come up with coherent responses).
First question for shorts, if QCOR is some kind of scam, then why do sales keep growing? We're not talking about a 1 year trend here, we're talking about multi-year growth that seems to keep trucking along. If the drug is ineffective, over hyped, etc., then how do sales keep going up? Also, growth is occurring in indications that have been commercialized for years so you can't just point to the new market intiaitives.
Second questions for longs and shorts, why would the SEC get involved in a marketing practice case? Also, if the case revolves around marketing outside of the drugs indications, then wouldn't the financial impact be limited to only those prescriptions that fell outside of those indications? How many of those are out there?
Is this idiot still here? been shorting since 18 right? man, i have such a huge position in qcor and i've made so much money doing the EXACT opposite of this moron, should i dip my toe again?
Okay fine, i'll add. thanks for sending us the message. My favorite leading indicator! What an idiot!
It's funny how people feel compelled to report how happy they are as they lose money. yes, paper loss, but still loss. tomorrow, if the stock drops a dollar, will you tell everybody how excited you are with the paper gain? don't you have anything better to do than to tell us how excited you are about your short? fyi, i am long and have been since end of last year. don't post much, but i figure you're another one of those john kelley type punks that need to make post after post after post either because he has nothing better to do or because he actually believes a yahoo mb will influence price. either way you are lame. btw, even though i'm long, i'd say the same thing to a bull doing the same thing.
Congrats longs. Been here since mid 20s. Was part of the nightmare from 50s to 30s, got out and reloaded at end of 2012. figured in addition to core long shares, i'd play with some call options. been buying apr, jul, and oct over the last few months. Best thing i've ever done! worst thing is that i sold them too soon, but still have significant position. overall, up about 400% for year, with translates to about $1.5 million profit. i just need to give a shout out to JK - john kelley (hence my moniker). that guy is the best! Also, honest shout out to mikey, max pharma, honest, et al. nice work guys.
As full disclosure, i sold half my option position when stock was $65 today, continue to hold my long shares which i will not sell until over $100. good luck everybody!
my god! firstly how many ids does this loser have? secondly, wasn't this idiot telling people to short at 18, 25, 35, 40, 46, 47? is this the moron that i've been buying from for the last 9 months? if so, please give me your address so that I can send you a gift with my profits! what an idiot!
LOL. John Kelley, weren't you the guy that was telling people to short at $18, $25, and $35? I think you must realize what an idiot you sound like but I wanted you to hear it from me firsthand. Get a life loser! If you're gonna short, more power to you. If you make money more power to you. But please stop posting idiotic messages. You're taking up valuable oxygen!
like the idiot i am, i bought into all hype and bought at 108. then i realized something that i guess most people are seeing now. tsla has to execute!!! after that supercharger presentation, i saw how long this is going to take. stopped at 100. live and learn. this turd is going to 70s.
wow, you really are a loser. that 5k was mine. get a life moron!
I don't care what he looks like, I care what he said. I want to add more if he's simply another paid guy working for the shorts.
So who is this guy? I guess Mikey won't post info, but does anybody have anything substantive on these comments? I've viewed every pullback as an opportunity and so far it's worked out. I want to add again, but I can't find any info on this dude. TIA.
Man those posts by shorts are getting tired (ie. bear-raid, s-hoar, jkelly, timber guy). Would love to see these jokers go away. congrats to those who took money off the table today. dbling money in a few months aint easy. for me, i'll be here for the long haul. too compelling at these levels and sky is starting to clear. i'll trade options short term tho.
i just wanted to ask the board any thoughts on true short squeeze. i dont think the run up over the last few weeks is a squeeze. volume seems a bit low for that so i'm guessing buyers are seeing the opportunity instead of shorts covering. But i'm not a ta guy so I'd like to hear others' opinions.
Hey all. Does this drop in the last hr bug me? Yes, but does it make me want to sell?? Hell no! Stock went from mid 20s to 33 in a couple of weeks. After the earnings, increased divy to 3%, why the hell would i sell? But this is volatile and you've got to believe in the fundamentals. If you can't handle that, then get out. I've been here since fall when this thing was 18. My target this year is 50 and won't touch the sell button until then. Will add anywhere near $33. GL all.
BTW, Luci and bear raid are total morons! I don't mind shorts, but my god, those losers are annoying!
New to this board. Has anyone bothered to look at the economics for BBY under this new policy? I think they should be able to retain some sales, but is this a profitable policy for them? Doing it during Xmas makes sense bc they need to get the holiday shoppers in the door. It seems like doing it year round could be just another form of slow death. How can this be profitable for them longer term? Does this address the company's fundamental issues?
I have no position, but was thinking about dabbling.
