Yeah, they probably just want to lose money. There is no way a company with 32 billion in income could ever be profitable. Also the whole increase in data traffic and the value of spectrum, thatt smart phone 4k video thing, that's just a fad.... Besides even if anyone wanted tio merge there is no reason for them to do so.... it would just double the cost of running the new greater company, besides that interest rates are so high and money is so scarce that it would be really difficult to find funding...
Besides he already made Billions on a similar vodaphone deal in Japan, and the whole BABA thing.... and he probably doesn't plan on doing that again with sprint....
They probably just want to lose more money. That what billionaires, who have already made billions on telecom turnarounds are into, doing stupid money losing stuff without any plan or foresight.
It's just hanging on till the event that propels the stock happens, a merger or a buyout. Stillit sucks and you need to have big donkey nuts and a lot of patience to see it through to the end.
You just have to be betting on market incentives, low interest rates, synergies of merging, macro wireless, iot, media distribution trends etc. Sucks in the meantime though.
I'm long based on simple economics of cheap money and cost savings in mergers. As sure as day follows night. Who or when is pure speculation. One day there will be some news and the price will jump and I will be out of it.
Wow, what a whiner. You should write a letter to the Government or form a support group or something.... Also i am long but calling Sprint a perfectly good company is stoooopid.
It's a dumb question, "will softbank bail sprint out?" Its the same thing as asking will softbank bail softbank out, sprint is a part of Softbank, only reason they don't own the whole thing is to keep Sprint debt off their books.
