I wonder how many people own AAPL and don't even know it. Almost all mutual funds own some AAPL. It reminds me of MO when everyone was boycotting owning cigarette makers yet almost all mutual funds owned MO. If you don't know what your funds own how can you invest in them?
Didn't know that, thanks for sharing. Holding long both the common and call options.

BABA has announced two new annual sales day events.
The new and additional sales day events, in addition to the singles day 11/11 event, will occur on 12/12 (not sure why the 12/12 event) and 6/18 (mid-year sales event).
My wife is already preparing for the 12/12 event. Ouch...
Many successful people are "only" high school graduates. In the USA we are privileged, there are many opportunities to further education later in life and after many mistakes. China is following with the Open College concept to further educational opportunities for those that failed the gaokao (college entrance exam). I am blessed, my sun shines bright. My wish for you is the same.
The Yuan does not trade freely like other market currencies. The Yuan (RMB/CNY) moves when the Central Government decides to move rates. You can draw your charts; they are irrelevant. Historically (last 10 years) most moves have been in 1/4% increments and occur in the Fall. Honestly, I would like to see the RMB/CNY strengthen against the USD; it's been straight down for years. But, since it's pegged to a basket of commodities (unknown) it is difficult for me to come to that conclusion. Would you be so kind as to elaborate on your hypothesis?
maybe you should look at the chart...flat YoY
