All I know is I am losing patience with their silence. Just glad I took something off the table in both NRF and NSAM months ago. Had giving back this much. They better have a good reason for not saying something.
They listen to the last guy that weighs in . His upgrade was a reluctant one he still set the price lower than was currently trading. Chris Danely now @ Citigroup (formerly JPMorgan) is another one . The Goldman analyst is no prize either. The quiet period is where these guys feast on the calls, knowing that Intel Mgmt won't/can't respond.
I read the same article in Motley Fool on full yr guidance . Intel usually gives mid-qtr guidance before their quiet period.. They entered their quiet period 2-3 weeks ago. the company's projections have been better than the analysts for the past 6 yrs now.
intel would have warned by now if it was going to be as bad as AMD's qtr
Don't see where Libor rates really matter. They don't necessarily move lock step with treasuries or the Fed Funds rate. I find the margin over Libor more relevant.
don't forget that NG is used for cooling too. UPS is using LNG for their trucks in 2 states TN and I think KY.
You will understand the reasons to what is going on. Still doesn't justify the take down of this magnitude.
