please do not believe the professional spinners on this board who errantly assert that VRX has requested (and the board voted on) a "REQUEST" for the cease trade order -- absolutely a lie. The Canadian Securities Admin has SLAPPED the Cease Trade Order on the folks listed (see my earlier post which includes the listing -- or look it up yourself (hint: look for "Canadian Securities Administration" and then "Cease Trade Orders"). Become proactive people, not reactive.
Here's a suggestion for those who just don't get it, why don't you call VRX to confirm that indeed the CSA has issued a Cease Trade Order, and confirm that it applies to all of the parties listed under that order, which order, and method of finding the order I supplied in my prior message (this message is intended for the ignorant, lazy investors who trade in VRX or the goons who represent certain parties of interest.)
apparently you don't know how to read the Canadian CTO...this is an order to prevent all of the listed parties named in the order (read the names) from doing any trading in VRZ securities....it does not say a thing about pending info...if you need more of an explanation, and/or its implications I suggest you contact your financial advisor.

To independently confirm this information you can look up "Canadian SEcurities Administration" and then find "Cease Trade Order"
If Pershing announces any additional purchases, it will likely drive even more investors away from Ackman. There is genius, and then, there is stupid.
agree it isn't a priority, just another kick in the teeth, however, you seem to have been walking a tightrope (tottering on either side of the rope) in your messages around here; so, just wondering whether or not you have decided which way you are leaning.
I'm not the one sitting here doing the worrying but I guess you are; but, if you aren't, well, by all means do what you want, BUT, you can't say you haven't been warned.
"...The company has until May 20, 60 days from its notice of non-reliance to refile its 2014 and first quarter of 2015 reports, per New York Stock Exchange rules, before risking a notice of potential delisting. The company already risks a delisting notice from the exchange because it missed the extended filing deadline for its 2015 annual report. ..."

gamblers usually end up owing the house.
In other words: Bill Ackman is (again) on the wrong side of the trade and he is going to get into very big doo-doo (last straw). Too bad his investors can't get out before May...but, the timing was just right to enable many other VRZ institutional investors to dump the shares before they have to show it is still on their 1Q books.
oh, and where was pearson since 2010? twiddling his thumbs?
you people who are intent on finding a scape goat should do equal time behind bars...may be they are both culpable, but you cannot convince me that schiller is singularly responsible without Pearson being primarily culpable. who are you kiddin!
