Hey Big, I agree with you about this stock being a 'dud' except for the 'the retooling cost and all that other stuff'. Let's remember, all car companies have these same cost to deal with: GM. Toyota, etc.; but their stock doesn't behave as Ford's does.
Got news for you - the entire stock market is a big what if, let alone one stock. You don't know yourself with 100% surety which way AKS is headed, or any other stock for that matter. I'm just saying that I have seen it happen before, and I'm sure you have too.
What if it headfakes its way all the way to 6 or more? Real or not, it is 6. I've seen this happen before... headfake this and headfake that....
Last move in chess is called 'checkmate' - I think we have the shorts in a Checkmate position here...
Soon, lawyers will swarm PBR live a swarm of bees. Lot's of people are going to get stung when the bees find all the honey is missing.
That is the key - the audited financials. Referring to the story of the boy who cried constantly cried wolf - once one tells too many lies, others cease to believe. Much time will be required to re-establish lost trust - if ever.
Oil is considered black gold - how does this happen? When the government runs things, lots of things like this can and usually does happen. Only the government can bankrupt a golden goose. This company needs to go totally private if it is to survive.
Citi also needed a government bailout - gee... they real smart... aye?
What has been happening to the AKS share price doesn't make much sense - especially after the insiders have made 2 major rounds of purchase. It would make little sense to think they would waste millions of their dollars if CITI were so right about the pps going down the toilet. CITI isn't the only analyst around.
