It's too much. There has got to be some relief here. There was so much support on the front side of this. I can't imagine all those investors would get weak hands already
Ummmm.... I honestly would love to think you are right but how can you after the report? Really, it's an honest question. I am on your side and can't believe the direction it is going after hours.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
The fact that it is so far out of the money with a 1 day expiration looks more like a smart seller of options. I have seen that happen a lot. They are taking advantage of the down market and history that TSLA does not move by that much even if it does fall.
They aren't thinking maliciously to the shorts. Their only concern is with providing for the longs. At this point I don't know what direction to decide. I haven't gotten in yet but I will on Thursday. Just don't know which side of the fence to get on and with the IV so high I don't think a straddle is a right move
I just sat back and quietly watched this happen. It was almost comical to read the pumpers. Not sure how hard to expect it to fall but the fact that this is just the beginning, (downgrades follow lower guidance) you may be somewhat right.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
That is just the first company to raise. Watch the rest get on board soon. At the rate they are making money, the stock is under valued at that price.
Did you see all the calls traded today? No seller is going to watch their millions vanish. They pumped so they could sell the calls. Watch them short it now for the end of the week closing. Perfectly orchestrated.
I have been in real estate long enough to see the wall here. We had our little bump but the builder market is softening again as new homes are still more expensive then what the already built homes are going for in a comparable size. I had high hopes and made a little off my investment with this stock and others seeing the market previously gain but we are at the crest of that ride. Best wishes to all whatever side you decide to stand on but I am bowing out happily ahead and just thought you may want a report from someone who touches the end user market. Cheers!
You just lost 10K on LZB stock. I didn't even think it was going to drop this far this quick. I may take my short sale profits sooner. I am telling you, there is no hope until 3rd quarter at least. You better have a strong stomach to hang on to this all summer. Your 20 posts a day will not help it
The CEO even said that the worst months are ahead. Plus the next report will be worse if you look at what their competitors have been reporting and watching their stock get slammed.
They held their buy rating, not upgraded it. They are bag-holders like you. The shorts will cover soon and you will get a bump. I would advise to take that as an open door to exit.
INSANE!!!! Now they are reporting after hours on June 3rd! That screws me up but I am in for the ride now. That leaves little time on the options but hopefully the market will pay them the respect they deserve for changing the date 3 times.
There were all the signs to short this when I hopped in. I got it on Tuesday (I think) when they were originally supposed to report. The day past and the websites started updating a 31st date (Friday) with no set time. It was even reported on TV by the commentators on Friday waiting to hear how they were going to save their "on sale" margins. The whole day went by and still nothing. With the market dump on Friday, I am a bit nervous that Monday will get a shot in the arm from bargain hunters. Both my option legs are in the money but the delay has caused some time decay, decreasing the value despite the stock slipping a little. Still, this is generally bad news when a company fails to report but these guys have made a habit of drumming up high hopes from dreams despite the dismal reality. Best of luck to you. You made a good move if you are short the stock. Options have a lot of activity to the puts so I think I am on the right side on this one too.
Am I missing something here? First they were suppose to report on the 28th, and then on the 31st. They must be getting the cake and party streamers for the great news they have! Isn't that what companies do when they keep pushing there earnings report off? Really, I am honestly wondering what I am missing here. Does anyone know why they haven't reported and when they might?
The confidence is there. The business is solid. Yesterday was a nice gift to those who want to hop on board a solid company with a bright future.
